"Don't mind her," Poppy said, waving a hand in dismissal of her sister. "She's still carrying a lot of emotional baggage."
"Daddy issues," Ean muttered under his breath.
Poppy shrugged. "We all have that," she agreed. "But, that's no excuse to be rude."
Ean nodded in agreement.
"I'm Poppy, by the way," she extended her hand out to me.
"Jocelyn," I supplied, taking her hand.
"It's nice to meet you. I'm glad Riley found someone," she beamed, stepping closer to give me a hug that I was not prepared for. "It's about time he's happy."
