Rain Keeps Falling On My Head Novels & Stories

I couldn't breathe properly as the rain started. The rain soaks through my jacket, chilling me to the bone, but I barely notice. I can’t seem to move—just standing here, watching the water pool at my feet, feeling it drip from my hair, sliding down my face like the tears I won’t let fall. My chest feels tight, like there’s a fist around my heart, squeezing a little more with every breath. I tell myself to keep walking, to go find her, to do something, but my legs don’t listen.

She had so much on her mind that she felt like her head was getting heavy. She could no longer stand anymore. She slides down the wall...reclining her back against it. She flinched when she heard the sound of thunder and soon she felt water drops falling on her. It was raining...why is it raining so suddenly? Is the sky crying too? Is...Is Igneel crying too? She didn't see him shed a tear when he was getting beaten up. "As if...he was u-used to it," Leah sobbed and wiped the tears away from her eyes but they soon got mixed by the raindrops as soon as she looked up at the sky. Letting the rain pour on her face, drenching her whole.

Drops of water fell down my face. My whole body feels wet. My bewildered eyes scanned the dark sky above me. I'm outside, I thought. But I couldn't move my whole body at all. The sound of raindrops falling on the leaves and plants around me was soothing, but I didn't feel at all calm. I frantically tried to raise my head but to no avail. The raindrops that fell into my eyes made me have to close them for a while while blinking because they were a little sore.

I pouted. His lips curled up slightly in amusement. "Well, you need to finish up." We stepped outside moments later after our meal. I was about to make a comment when I felt the first drop of water hit my forehead. I blinked rapidly, looking upwards. "Don't tell me..." Of course, more drops followed. One couldn't have a good day without rainfall messing it up. I mentally rolled my eyes. "Damn it," Quinn crised as the currents increased.

They won. I stumbled out a set of glass doors, and out into the open, only to be lynched by the rain that was starting to pick up. I looked up at the sky, and the clouds were gloomy and grey to match my misery. The raindrops fell on my face, slowly drenching my clothes. I heard a couple of hospital staff calling out to me, but I kept moving forward, my tears mixing with the rain water running down my chin. I let out a frustrated scream at the sky, pulling at my hair as I lowered myself down to sit in the wet ground. My screams eventually turned into really loud, heartbroken sobs that shook every part of my body.

The rain falls in torrents, a relentless deluge that mirrors the tumult within my heart. I sit huddled on the pavement, my shoulders hunched, my figure a mere silhouette against the backdrop of the dreary evening. The cold drops cascade down, soaking through my clothes, but I scarcely notice, lost in the storm of my own despair. With trembling hands, I clutch at myself, as if trying to hold the shattered pieces of my being together while my tears mingle with the rain on my cheeks.

“Up and at ‘em.” Relieved that she wasn’t about to meet her maker but still not sure what was happening, Rain dropped back down to try to clear her thoughts, expecting her head to fall onto the floor of the tent. Instead, she landed on something warm that made a soft groaning noise as her head made contact.

It’s been exactly one week since I have last saw him. It has been one whole long week since I had the pleasure to lay my eyes on his perfect form and being ; one whole entire week of nothing but misery….and discovery. The tiny crystal drops gently fall onto my head , sinking down below finding my scalp. I feel as it tinkles down my scalp , leaving a trail of cold kisses – making me shiver from it gentle yet affective feel. Raising my face to the high heavens , I feel the rain showering my face. This feels good….

Instead, I pull his jacket tighter around myself and step into the rain. The water soaks through my hair immediately, turning the blonde strands dark and heavy against my skull. It runs down my face, mixing with the tears I didn't realize had started falling again. My shoes squelch against the wet pavement with each step, the leather offering no grip on the slick surface.

RAINE’S POV So, maybe I felt worse than I let on. Though my stomach seemed to be settled, there was an annoying pain in my head, and my legs ached as if I had been speed walking all day. Not only that, but I found myself suffering from these unwanted hot flashes. When I awoke, I thought I’d feel refreshed, but that wasn’t the case at all. My body felt heavy and sweaty. The two men that I seemed to be caught in between were also unexpectedly at my side.
