Raven smirked, leaning in closer, his voice low and teasing, meant for her alone,
“Our daughter told me today… she wants a little brother or sister. We should make another pup for Selena to play with.”
Lyra laughed helplessly, rolling her eyes,
“She can barely speak clearly, stop making things up.”
Raven straightened up, his expression serious and innocent,
“I’m telling the truth. The way she looked at me definitely said that.”
Before Lyra could argue further, he took her hand, pulling her directly toward the dining hall.
The soft moonlight bathed the valley, their silhouettes side by side, casting long, intertwined shadows on the ground, inseparable, as if they had always belonged together.
