Lincoln’s POV What the hell did she mean that I was a rogue? That question lingered in my mind until someone came to get me. He stood tall, and the red of his hair was like the dying embers of a fire. “You,” I began. “I’m Ruby’s brother, Garnett,” he answered like he was bored as the bars slid open. “Move along. We have no time to waste.” The chains on my wrists were opened, and I was tempted to launch myself against this person, to fight him—to get out of here. But something in his stature and the vast sword strapped on his waist made me stop.

It is. I close my eyes for a second and breathe in through my nose, slow, controlled, the way I’ve done a thousand times when I need to get my shit together. It doesn’t work. The bar still smells like her. Citrus and something warm. It’s faint but it’s there, and my wolf presses forward like he’s trying to chase it. “She’s Arachne’s kid,” I say out loud, low. “That alone is a problem.” “There is no record of her,” he says.

“Well?” “He has some… characteristics of a rogue: red eyes, difficulty controlling himself, and bloodlust. Still, Daphne, his mate apparently, can calm him. We brought them back here for safety, but during a break out from the prison, Arthur attacked and hurt several of our patrolmen.” Rex hummed, “Tell me about these rogue characteristics? Is he insane?” Blade shook his head, “No. Not… normally. Perhaps a bit distrusting of us, but he is capable of speech and reason. In the midst of battle, however, his strength is overwhelming and his bloodlust only intensifies his aggressiveness."

I nod to the members of C-Squad who are standing in the room, walking between the windows and the doors, checking to make sure Stellan doesn’t get in. “Did you see anything on the monitors, Alpha?” Since all the elite squad leaders introduced themselves during graduation, I know this is Saber. “Nothing, Saber.” She nods and goes back to monitoring the doors and windows. I go outside, lifting my nose in the air. I spin in a slow circle and, not smelling the packless rogue smell coming from any direction, I strip off my clothes and make my way to the border. I run patrols with the others until dawn when the shift changes again, then I head inside to get some sleep.

I mutter, hatred still flowing through my veins instead of blood. I wrap the garrotte wire tighter across my hands, getting into stance as my eyes follow a subtle movement from the bushes. The signal is a howl from Ryker. Ragnar has us all briefed. My hands are covered in a pair of knuckle dusters. I had my leather jacket over my gear, which was actually a crop top and slick black pants that allowed me to move around, a utility belt with a series of knives strapped to it, and military boots. A howl sounds some distance in the front, just at the same time a group of rogues leap out of the bushes.

I warned. “No, no, I’m not,” the rogue stammered. “Look, it’s not too far now.” We reached a small mountain. There were two guards who watched as we approached. The rogue stopped and said, “See, it’s right here. I…” I didn’t let him finish and drove my elbow into the back of his skull, cracking his skull. The rogue fell and convulsed on the ground. I stepped over him and approached. The guards tensed but I spoke before they did, “I am Ronan, son of Elder Cassius of Moonvale.”

I glared at him and started walking away. " Ah…Wait..." I stopped walking and turned around to stare down at him. He avoided my eyes again, " Fine...I'll talk" he mumbled. Clover got off him and smiled at me, " You're welcome" she said and skipped away. I turned my gaze back to the rogue. He scratched his his head nervously, " This is so awkward and weird" he mumbled and sighed. I took the time to look at him well. He had dark hair that looked so untidy from him running his fingers through. His eyes were a light grey and his lips were pale and thin. His nose was not so pointy and his brows were on point. He should be at least 6'0 feet.

Its Rowena, I don’t think a princess is ever going to be a sacrifice. Silence followed after I had said that,but I felt his tension ease. I looked at him in a way he wouldn’t know, I wanted to take all his features, his looks and the way he looked at me when I wasn’t starring. Why do they call you the rogue Alpha , I found myself asking. When I asked that question it seemed to get his attention because he looked at me. I don’t go with their rules princess and I don’t worship their stupid moon goddess who abandoned my people when your people turned against us or because I protected my people with my own power.

Chelsea only wished her memories would clear up and she will remember everything exactly as it happened because in the light of the events , she couldn't help but doubt what if someone wanted her to be prejudiced against her family , from the start ? ********* " Ohho , what is this huh ?" It was midnight and Remus and Rogue were working together regarding the matter of catching Dark mages. Remus was reaching the end of his report of catching two dark mages outside ; the forest of den, trying to sacrifice two little kids , who he and his team rescued , when a little paper butterfly came fluttering through , Rogue's study window , coming to a rest in front of Rogue . Unlike how I found him unconscious and butt naked. "Why did you leave your pack, Peyton?" He questions, eyes never leaving mine. "Stepping foot into this land as an exiled wolf makes you nothing but a rogue. And we do kill rogues, or lock them up because they're never to be trusted." The lines on his forehead are furrowing as he makes this known to me.
