Scarlett Today was the happiest day of my life, two special occasions makes today wonderful for me, one, I would be celebrating my fifth wedding anniversary with my billionaire husband Adrian Mattson and two, my test results proved positive today. The doctor said I was carrying my bundle of joy, even the test results didn't lie, I couldn't be more happy. After five years of living in an almost perfect marriage, Adrian and I would have a baby to call ours. This is definitely our proud parents moment.

“Yeah, that’s Logan Carter.” There was a round of Oh's and ahs from the group at the window. I heard my phone buzz on the table with a notification. I closed my laptop down and grabbed my things. A lot of the office stayed at the window watching as I exited. I must admit they were correct; he looked exceptional. He was wearing dark jeans, a crisp white T-shirt and a black leather jacket. He was leaning against the bonnet of a car I didn’t recognise.

"I thought you would've chosen Mean Girls instead." I chuckled, and shrugged my shoulders. "Well Channing Tatum and Dave Franco are in these movies. They're amazingly hot!" A deep growl rumbled through his chest and that caused me to laugh hysterically. "You're cute when you get jealous." I pinched his cheeks but he pulled away. "Okay, love birds. The movie is starting. So shut up!" Daniel yelled towards us. Aaron didn't take that lightly because he tried to get up but I pulled him down.

I can't say the same about myself; happy tears fell like waterfalls.

He complimented. I didn't smile again, it was obvious he was a flirt, he looked at me lustfully. "Thanks." "I'm James Highmore, a friend of Alex who's the CEO of this company." He replied with pride. "Ohh, that's nice, I brought my credentials, I want to work in this company but I'm scared, I don't know if Mr Alex will be willing to take me in." I said and he grinned at me. I felt my pulse flutter in response.

She spun around. Kierston Dale. “You move too fast,” he said quietly, almost amused, but his eyes glinted with warning. “And yet… predictable. Every plan you make is seen, anticipated, controlled. You are clever… but not clever enough.” “Yes… but I—” she began, defiance burning. He silenced her with a sharp tilt of his head. “You're such a pain in the ass! Didn't you know that I lost a billion dollar deal just to guard you?”

The Alpha smiled as he stood up from his seat walking slowly towards me. "I..." I shuttered not knowing what to say seeing the Alpha walk towards me. "Evelyn, no need to bother about formalities, just call me Ethan." The Alpha smiled immediately when he got to me. "I...." I shuttered feeling rather confused wondering why the Alpha was acting rather strangely. Did he fall in love with me at first sight or what the hell was happening?

I can’t decide if I should make him breakfast, an extra-large coffee, or six shots of vodka, as he looks really exhausted like a tired pigeon.
