“Yeah, that’s Logan Carter.” There was a round of Oh's and ahs from the group at the window. I heard my phone buzz on the table with a notification. I closed my laptop down and grabbed my things. A lot of the office stayed at the window watching as I exited. I must admit they were correct; he looked exceptional. He was wearing dark jeans, a crisp white T-shirt and a black leather jacket. He was leaning against the bonnet of a car I didn’t recognise.

"I thought you would've chosen Mean Girls instead." I chuckled, and shrugged my shoulders. "Well Channing Tatum and Dave Franco are in these movies. They're amazingly hot!" A deep growl rumbled through his chest and that caused me to laugh hysterically. "You're cute when you get jealous." I pinched his cheeks but he pulled away. "Okay, love birds. The movie is starting. So shut up!" Daniel yelled towards us. Aaron didn't take that lightly because he tried to get up but I pulled him down.

Emily “Do you, Emily Mitchell, take Tyler Slate as your lawfully wedded husband and mate? Do you promise to cherish him, honor him, and help him thrive as the beta of our pack, so help our goddess?” our lead elder spoke, making my eyes water as he continued to resight. Tyler’s eyes sparkled, a stray tear falling down his cheek and smile from ear to ear. “I do!” I say, making him choke up a bit. He sighed, trying to contain his tears. I can't say the same about myself; happy tears fell like waterfalls.

“They have.” “What the f-k was that about?” Rhett rolled to sit between Heath and Cameron, one long tattooed leg stretched out, the other bent up with his elbow on it. Where Cameron glowed in the darkness, Rhett’s tattoos acted as camouflage, sinking him into it. “He f-king knew that we were here and watching…” “Yeah, he did,” Heath agreed softly. “He did.” “He was sharing,” Cameron put his arm around Rhett’s shoulder and leaned around him to look at Heath. “He was sharing with us, wasn’t he? Why? Why would he do that?”

She spun around. Kierston Dale. “You move too fast,” he said quietly, almost amused, but his eyes glinted with warning. “And yet… predictable. Every plan you make is seen, anticipated, controlled. You are clever… but not clever enough.” “Yes… but I—” she began, defiance burning. He silenced her with a sharp tilt of his head. “You're such a pain in the ass! Didn't you know that I lost a billion dollar deal just to guard you?”

The Alpha smiled as he stood up from his seat walking slowly towards me. "I..." I shuttered not knowing what to say seeing the Alpha walk towards me. "Evelyn, no need to bother about formalities, just call me Ethan." The Alpha smiled immediately when he got to me. "I...." I shuttered feeling rather confused wondering why the Alpha was acting rather strangely. Did he fall in love with me at first sight or what the hell was happening?

I can’t decide if I should make him breakfast, an extra-large coffee, or six shots of vodka, as he looks really exhausted like a tired pigeon. Ryan nods without giving me any attention while his hands' movement increases. He looks like Flash working with papers in a government bank. I leave him to do his work and walk towards my table. *Tring* "Hello?" I speak as I get seated in my chair. "Ethan! Hi, this is Rita. How are you?" A flirtatious, girlish voice comes from the phone. This bitch.

The person who had attacked Ashton a moment ago shifted back to his human form and shouted at Ashton. When Leonard saw who he was, he was not surprised. "You have gone against our values and attacked our alpha, the crime that you have committed requires you to face execution at the first light, right in front of the whole pack," Kevin shouted at the top of his lungs. Although he was talking, he seemed to be sending out signals. The wounds on Kelly had already healed and his subordinates had already brought him clothes. Ashton was still healing because his super healing abilities came from his wolf who was still under the effect of the wolfbane.

Rhett’s POV I, Rhett Simon, the CEO of Opulentia Fashion was not your typical CEO. Yes, I am successful and wealthy, but my reputation as cold and ruthless in business dealings was just a small part of the story. Unlike most successful men of my stature— strikingly handsome, and tall— I am not interested in any form of romance. I have always gotten what I wanted, but getting Laurel to accept my proposal just weirdly made me anxious. She was no longer the former woman I knew, she was now bold and outspoken and held her head high.
