Missing Luna: She Is Mine

Missing Luna: She Is Mine

It was barely audible amidst the chaos of my thoughts. However, I pushed myself, utterly determined to calm the turmoil. In no time, my heartbeat sounded in my ears, steady as a drumbeat. It grounded me, providing a rhythm amidst the chaos. I could sense a transformation looming, a shift in my very essence. It was agonizing and overwhelming, yet I persevered, determined to confront whatever lay ahead. My heartbeat became increasingly prominent, with blood coursing through my veins like a raging river.

Your Heart Beats for Another

Your Heart Beats for Another

"Quincey, I spent three hours making this food. Make sure Hudson eats it." I went to the restroom to treat my wound. After that, I passed by the room and saw Quincey tossing the container straight into the trash. I paused and let out a sigh before walking away. When Hudson was diagnosed with his heart condition, I was shocked and worried. We'd been married for two years. He kept a very regular schedule and, as a university professor, had even once played in a faculty basketball game. Two months ago, he was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect. While I was losing sleep trying to find a donor, Quincey's boyfriend had an accident.

Still coming along nicely. The Archie plot has hot a good point. I feel there is more to come with Rain in the story and I like that. It is good to acknowledge the news spread of his accomplishments beating down Archie, but I would shorten the side conversations of the random people.

I'm honestly surprised that this story doesn't have more views and reviews. It's well-written, moves at a relaxing pace and the author did an amazing job with the descriptions. The characters has great depth, personalities that stand out. It is also clean and well-edited.

Trapped in the Storm

Trapped in the Storm

Storm I tried to take a deep breath to calm myself down, but my lungs were so tight that I couldn’t get a lungful of air. My heart was beating so fast that I felt like I had tachycardia. Tachycardia is a condition I had recently been learning about in class. It is a medical condition where the heart beats too fast, and in doing so may not pump enough blood to the rest of the body. This can starve the organs and tissues of oxygen and can cause symptoms such as: shortness of breath, light headedness, rapid pulse rate, heart palpitations, chest pain, and even fainting.

Loved this book! Wonderful suspense not knowing which way things were turning at times. Only thing I didn't like at times were the POV chapters you pay for that repeated everything from the previous chapter with a couple added thoughts, but some chapters being below the normal price made up for it.

This is truly one of the greatest stories. No gratuitous sex scenes which is s fantastic thing. You are getting to know the characters and their is a plot. You have even left things open to continue on to another book! I hope this continues!

The Billionaire's Queen

The Billionaire's Queen

I couldn't even recognize why my heart has gone wild now for the nth time. It's not just that each beat is fast and loud. Erratic, chaotic, slow then suddenly speeding up, and very strong. I could hear every heartbeat as if I was wearing a stethoscope that was directly opposite my heart and meant to let me hear what kind of effect Waldo had on my heart. "Waldo..." I mumbled.

ALPHA Arthur: The Mate Who Lied

ALPHA Arthur: The Mate Who Lied

A slow, steady rhythm. Like a heartbeat. "Xavier, please! Just get me inside!" "Shut up! Listen!" In the silence that followed, a soft, rhythmic thud echoed from behind the walls. Thump. Thump. Thump. It wasn't a heartbeat.

My Fiancé's Uncle is Obsessed With Me!

My Fiancé's Uncle is Obsessed With Me!

My chest tightened, something rising up inside me so fast it almost hurt. “And this,” Dr. Chen continued, pressing a button, “is the heartbeat.” A soft sound filled the room. Fast. Rhythmic. Alive. I froze. The sound wrapped around me, sank into my bones, into my chest, into every part of me that had been clenched with fear just moments ago. Thump-thump-thump-thump-thump. Too fast to count. Too steady to ignore. My breath caught. “That’s…” Her voice broke. “That’s my baby?”

WOW! What a great book! The complete journey of Emily and Adrian. My heart ached with the last chapter. I won’t say more so not giving it away. There’s many twists and turns that not only keeps my attention, but keeps pulling me back for more. I wonder where Hope’s story could take me now. Great job

I Married the Man My Ex Could Never Compete With

But undeniably there. Lydia stares at the screen. For a moment the world outside the room disappears. “That’s really…” She can’t finish the sentence. “Yes,” the doctor says. “Really.” Then a sound fills the room. Fast. Steady. Rhythmic. A soft pulsing noise that echoes gently through the speakers. Lydia’s breath catches. “What is that?” The doctor smiles. “That’s the heartbeat.” The sound continues. Quick and determined. Like a tiny drum beating inside the quiet room.
