Ava's breath scampered as she helmed through the ominous landscape. As she walked, the atmosphere grew heavier, and a distant howl echoed, sending chills down her spine. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows – a silhouette with piercing eyes that seemed to gleam in the dusk. It was a creature, neither fully mortal nor entirely beast, its sight sending waves of fear through Ava's very core.

She didn't want to hear anymore of the frightening story. "Don't tell me you're all scared. It's a myth, I made it up!" John smirked, his eyes gazing at the scared faces of his girlfriend and friends. "Ha ha ha, scared? I've never been scared of anything in my life!" Rocky roared in laughter as he rose from the ground. "Scary stories don't scare me. I'm gonna pee!" He uttered still grinning. "Don't wander far into the woods, you never know who you'll meet." John warned in a playful but spooky voice.

She leans in close and sniffs me, her long tangled grey hair tickling my nose. Hearing a demented laugh explode from her, I inwardly cringe while she raises her head and peers at me with the scariest eyes I have ever seen. When they look at me, it's as if I am peering into a deep red abyss, so terrifying that I could only ever imagine it in my worst of nightmares. Her face is grotesque and when she laughs again, I see two teeth. Those two teeth though, look razor sharp like fangs.

"I don't know. There have been whispers of Seer powers that are hard to believe. What did you hear?" Scarlett takes a breath, stepping back from me as she wrings her hands. I can feel her fear escalating. "She was in a dark room, and it smelled of dirt and rotting food. She can't see out, but she's trying.". I swallow hard and try to get my head around it. Scarlett's terror is coursing through our link. "Well, she's brave," I tell her, going over to give my mate a reassuring hug. "She's a smart kid. She knows better than to offer us what we're looking for in an attempt to locate her."

The taxi took a turn towards a deserted road and it got me worried, I wasn’t thinking about being bullied anymore as I feared for my life. “Where are we headed?” I asked with a shaky voice. “I’m only following the map, I was instructed to bring you to this very location” He replied innocently and I nodded, feeling very restless. “We’re close tho” He offered a smile which didn’t help one bit. After about five minutes of me muttering silent prayers to the goddess. I’d like to die but not in a forest where animals or rouges could tear my body to pieces. I’d like to die and be given a good burial.
