Project Heartbreak
A twisted, ongoing blackmail.
“There is no price,” I choked out, fumbling for the door handle. “I’m not... I wouldn’t...”
“Wouldn’t you?” he challenged, his voice soft and deadly. “You’ve done it before.”
I couldn’t breathe. I shoved the door open and practically fell out of the car, my body aching, my heart feeling like it was shattering into a million pieces.
I didn’t look back. I couldn’t. If I saw his face, that cold, handsome mask, I would have shattered right there on the pavement.
