Discarded By The Billionaire: His Biggest Mistake

Discarded By The Billionaire: His Biggest Mistake

I moved quietly to the doorway, staying in the shadows of the hall so they couldn’t see me. Leylie sat on the edge of Ava’s bed. Ava, awake from her nap, sat cross-legged. They had a large picture book spread out between them. “And then,” Leylie was saying, her voice gentle and lively, “the little star realized that even though he was small, his light helped the sailors find their way home. He didn’t need to be as big as the moon to be important.” Ava leaned into Leylie’s side, her head almost resting on her shoulder. She reached out and tapped a drawing of a lighthouse in the book. 10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Disgraceful

Disgraceful

Staring at him in consternation, Ashton let out a frustrated breath. "Where did you leave her?" ***** The howl of the bitter wind sliced through the silence of the country road as Ava walked down the familiar path to her cottage. A stiff breeze swept a drift of snow about her feet, biting through her shabby cloak. The darkened sky overhead reflected her somber mood.

THE BILLIONAIRE’S CONTRACT WIFE

THE BILLIONAIRE’S CONTRACT WIFE

Rose entered carrying fresh tea and smiled when she noticed them both at the table. The older woman seemed relieved that they weren't arguing. After breakfast, Ava hurried upstairs to change into something more suitable for a family visit. An hour later, she was sitting inside the car beside Dominic as they drove toward the Hale estate. Unlike previous drives, the silence wasn't uncomfortable. Ava spent most of the journey looking outside the window. The city slowly disappeared behind them as they entered a quieter area filled with enormous properties. When the familiar gates of the Hale estate appeared, she found herself smiling.

Married To The Ceo

she added, as she gave him a warm embrace and walked away. Aviana had stepped on the road, halfway, heading to the direction of the cab. From no where, a car came speeding to her direction. Aviana, on the other hand, was too focused on getting to the other side of the road, she failed to see the danger that loomed. Aaron, who was still standing on the pavement, as he watched her cross the road, saw the car that sped to her direction. Realizing that the car, actually, was heading for her, he immediately called out to her, "Aviana! Be careful!" In the spur-of-the-moment, Aaron rushed to her, as fast as he could. On hearing the voice and the words that came along with it, Aviana turned around,

she muttered. Looking in the mirror one last time, she took a deep breath. Grabbing her clutch, she quickly sent her father a text. ELENA: Heading out with Ava. Don’t wait up. Love you. The driver was already waiting. She slid into the backseat. The drive to the address Avonlea had texted her earlier was filled with a low thrum of anticipation. When they pulled up to the location Avonlea had given her, Elena frowned. The street was quiet. She imagined a brightly lit, whimsical place, maybe with a quirky sign. But there was no sign of music, no glowing lights, no bustling crowd like Avonlea had described.

Saving Ava

Saving Ava

Ava was there, getting ready to get into her bath. Back in the bathroom, Ava was lost in her own thoughts, adjusting the water temperature, letting the steam rise to fill the room with a warm mist. Her thoughts were a carousel, endlessly spinning through the night's events. The emotional weight of the evening was intense, making her feel grounded and light-headed at the same time. What had started as a romantic moment had morphed into something much more profound, revealing layers of feelings and uncertainties that she, Carver, and Peyton would need to navigate.
