Grimacing at Briana, Lily had deliberately extended Kater's leash. Kater became excited and curious when it saw a stranger, and it kept trying to jump on Briana. Kater was a pure bred Husky with a black and white coat combination on the top of its head, and it had vicious and wolf like features which was terrifying. “I’m positive we’ll be hearing more from her in the upcoming days.” Ryker made a sound of quiet agreement. I might have chimed in, but my focus was on the thing wrigling in Nova’s arms. “What the fuck is that?” She cringed at the poison in my voice, but didn’t back down. Lifting her nose, which she used to burrow her way into other peoples business, she hugged the obnoxious looking puffball tighter to her chest. “It’s a kitten, Jude.” The creature in her arms lifted it’s head. It’s face was smushed, like it had run into a door one too many times. It had amber colored eyes that bulged as if it were caught in perpetual surprise.
