she said, her voice full of enthusiasm. I took another deep breath, and then began to sing. My voice was a little shaky at first, but as I got into the song, I started to feel more confident. I poured my heart and soul into the lyrics, feeling the emotions of the song deep within me. I sang of love and longing, of heartbreak and hope.

“You need to be patient, Your Majesty. I summoned you because the light exists. That alone is a sign. You have been working in darkness for so long.” “A sign of what?” “Salvation.” The word hunk in the air. Salvation. What a mocking concept. “Your end isn’t near yet, but it’s a warning. If you are not vigilant, your salvation may come too late.” Her hand trembled as she reached into her satchel, pulling out a small ball of yarn adorned with charms. “Take this. It will shield you from some of the darkness, though not all. Put it beside your pillow. You are closer to the edge than you think.”

With that, my world came crashing down around me, leaving me shattered and broken. “You shall watch every single person around you, everyone you love die as a sacrifice for your safety,” she declared. The word struck me hard, my heart felt like it had been ripped from my chest leaving a gaping hole that could never be filled. “If I should be dead then why am I here? Why did people save me? Tell me why!!!” I screamed in agony. “Because you can also be the savior,” she retorted. “What does that mean?” I asked, clutching onto my hair in frustration.
