Sam was trying not to laugh and had to fake a cough since every word out of my mouth was ridiculous. I bid Marlin and Doug adeu, and we walked with the couple, who introduced themselves as Emily and Lamar Simpson, a few blocks to the bank. While we were walking, I drew up a contract on my phone. And the man with a friendly smile who was sipping his drink in the corner of the room, Connor Black, seemed to laugh softly. “He’s a man with a great sense of humor,” replied a man who had been sitting quietly on the opposite sofa, Nicko Anderson.

I’m guessing no one got any sleep, so when they passed out from exhaustion, they were out cold. Rain directs me to the hardware/grocery store a couple of blocks away. Totally obvious to who I am, Sam looks buff, like she’s been working out. She’s lost a lot of weight. She walks up to the cashier and gives him a list. “Sage? What do you need sage for, Sam?” the cashier Bob says.

But this man was very convincing. "Want me to tell you one of your illicit businesses? You own a gambling center in Texas called Lotus." Samuel immediately widened his eyes at that. It was a good thing he followed his instinct to have all the cameras turned off. Otherwise everyone would know about his illicit business. "Then what do you want?" Samuel gritted his teeth. "I want freedom." Jaxter raised the corners of his lips. "What do you mean? Why are you asking for freedom when you're giving yourself away?" Samuel was a little confused by this man's request.

She shouted tightening the hold on the knot of her bathrobe. " You are here baby girl. Oh God thank you so much! By the way, you are looking so----- "Just get the hell out of my room." She yelled again "Why should I go out of here, this is my room too." He said calmly. "What do you mean?" He side-eyes me as he does, and there’s something stormy in his expression. “Hi,” I breathe, frozen like a statue beside him and clutching my cup in my hands. He doesn’t respond right away- he just gives the tap a few more pumps, then holds the nozzle over my cup, pressing the lever down. Golden liquid immediately starts flowing into my cup- so I guess the pump is the key to working the keg. I’ll know for next time. “Why don’t you go for a walk,” Jax murmurs, staring into my cup as he pours the beer. “And I’ll come find you.”

"Nice work with the hall. It's all..." I looked up at the chandeliers with lights bright enough to blind a person and the gold decorations reflecting light bright enough to damage the eyes. "That's my mother; she took the great deal upon herself," he spoke with a bored expression. "Ah, I see," I nodded. "Can't wait to give my speech and be done for the night. That way I can get out of here," Jax groaned.

Alpha Jake answered. "Waiting for my balance, I did everything you said and I even faked the smile and everything, it was damn boring seeing her face and it's even more annoying that I had to act like I care." Samantha exclaimed. "You cared about money huh! Then have them, have all of it." Alpha Jake half yelled and threw some bundle of cash on her. TBC
