Novel & Cerita Scary Carnival

The carnival was rather crowded. Families with small children, teenagers, young couples mostly. He scanned the whole area for suspicious-looking people. A lone man in the corner, a couple of guys that didn't dress casually enough to be there, anyone that was looking their way, he didn't notice anything worth worrying about, but he worried nonetheless.

The carnival was a sea of colors, lights twinkling in the night like stars had descended upon the earth. The air was filled with the heady mix of people, sweet cotton candy, buttery popcorn, and the faint tang of smoke from roasting skewers. Laughter echoed, music blared from speakers, and the world outside ceased to exist for just a little while. Arabella’s eyes were wide with wonder, drinking in every detail. She wasn’t going to let a single moment slip by.

She paused for a moment before delivering the final blow, "You're not good for anyone." Camille unconsciously held her breath, expecting a witty rejoinder from him, but none came, and they made the rest of their trip in tense silence. * * * * Hours later the carnival was in full swing. The year's FFCC's theme appeared to be "Fairy tale" because every part of the amusement park was filled with characters from children's favorite stories: princesses, dragons, knights—just name it.

I responded, in a scared tone. ________________ " I love this place." I muttered scanning this carnival. I can hear a shouting people at the horror train, it's not scary at all, dummies. It is indeed nice. Acquirer continued to walk towards the vendor selling cotton candy. He bought one a flower shape. How cute despite being manly. " Thank you. " He handed the cotton candy to me.

Declan's mouth watered as his eyes smiled at the food on the food cart. I don't know how the fuck he could be hungry with the whole place smelling like inside a rotting corpse. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up when I heard the carnival anthem playing. "Step right up! Step right up! Zombies and ghouls, banshees and golems!" A fat clown announced as his crooked lips fester into a frightening frown. We paused as he continued. "Step right up and try something new! That's right folks, we're tasting new things today." It pointed at us. I jumped to the side, making sure his nasty finger was pointing directly at Declan.

A carnival. Not just any carnival, either—it looked like something out of a movie. Giant Ferris wheel spinning lazily against the night sky, music playing from distant speakers, kids laughing, strings of colorful lights zigzagging overhead. The smell of popcorn, grease, and cotton candy hung thick in the air. Ricci stepped out first and came around to open my door like some fucking gentleman. “You coming?” I looked at him like he’d lost his mind. “A carnival?” He smirked. “You were expecting a five-star restaurant?”

"That's a perfect idea." We all decided that we would go to the carnival. Something I did not know was that Gabriel, Mr. Big and Scary, was afraid of clowns. We walked into a tent not actually knowing what was inside and it was a tent full of clowns. The look on Gabes face was utterly hilarious, he looked so scared and ran out of the faster than an olympic runner.

I say, excited to get to see anything other than this house. “It is settled then” Stefano says. We arrive at the carnival just after dark. A kaleidoscope of bright colours greets us as we walk in. The Ferris- wheel stands proud among the brightly lit rides. The smell of freshly popped popcorn and caramel fills the air. Excitement bubbles from the pit of my stomach at the sound of the thrill rides roaring through the air, causing excited carnival goers to scream in ecstasy. Lilliana can hardly stand still next to me, the excitement is infecting her as well.

Damn my good nature. The car was pulled to a stop and I quickly brought my head out of the window to see that we were at some kind of carnival. My brows creased at the sight. I didn't know there was one today. I hopped out of the car before he opened it for me and I was star-struck, it was glorious. It was a carnival held in an amusement park. I've always dreamt of riding rollercoasters since I was little but never had the chance. What were we doing here? Did he remember?

My gaze shifted to where they were pointing. Sure enough, a small carnival had been set up in an open field, its vibrant banners fluttering in the breeze. The sound of lively music blended with the laughter of children filled the air. A bright Ferris wheel rose high against the sky, and the sugary scent of cotton candy and fried snacks drifted toward us. "It’s called a carnival, sweetie," I replied. "A carnival?" Syrah repeated innocently. "You haven’t been to a carnival, Syrah?" Jasper asked as he caught a glimpse of her through the side mirror.
