Some were just simple bedtime stories to help me sleep, but others were scary ghost stories goaded on by Leo. Wanting to be brave like my older brother, I begged for them too. She was a silver-tongued narrator. Whether it was Goldilocks and the Three Bears or an old Italian ghost story, Mom painted pictures so vividly it was as if she’d experienced them firsthand. I shrug. “People think the place contains psychic traces of ancient people and times. And there’s no end to the ghost stories. From a lady in a white hood who haunts Avebury Manor, to a rock that crosses the road at midnight. Sounds fun but it’s far from it.” I gaze into the kitchen corner then back at the camera. Bringing up ghosts makes me uneasy.

If I had to guess, they probably didn’t get very many visitors down here. “Usss too.” It said back to me, and I swore I could hear a hint of sadness in the piercing voice. The answer left me confused, and even more shaken than I already was. These were the beings my village told ghost stories about. Horrible, malformed, and endlessly vicious creatures that had tried to kill their own mothers. They were the things that went bump in the night, and attacked without a second thought. What would they have to be scared of?

"Well, it was just a small event. It was (1:00 AM) In the morning as I was sleeping and suddenly... I heard the sound of an enchanting voice. I was so curious that I wanted to found out what was actually happening at that moment. So I opened my door only to see a ghost coming towards me and for a moment, I had lost control of myself. I couldn't move as my leg wobble on the ground and I didn't know when I fell down. A felt the ground opening in as the person lean towards me only for me to find out that he was a monster. Gosh, I was dying slowly inside of me as I bravely look him in the eyes and just then, my eyes brought out some flames as I shine it on him and he disappear immediately. "That

Billy assured her they’d fix things for all these people. “Ghosts aren’t scary. They’re just people without bodies. Some are family, but they aren’t as nice as they could be.” Jody’s eyes widened as Abby calmly informs them of this and frowns at the bite of chicken. “Wait, a minute. Not scary and not nice? What do you mean by that?” Jody couldn’t believe what Abby was saying. “There’s a man in town that wanders around the coffee shop. He’s really old and mean. He thinks he’s scary because he lurks in the shadows and growls at people.”

"Thanks so much." Logan gave the old female some coins before they left and continued their tour. "This is the territory of the Clan of the ghost" he uttered pointing at the huge kingdom before them. "Stop Danny" he commanded and Danny did. "Wow, looks terrifying. Any mortal will shit in his/her pants if they sight this kingdom." "Lol. Nothing is terrifying here. Just vultures, skulls, Red pieces of clothes, spiders, snakes, and rumbling of the sky." "Is that all you see? And who told you there aren't mortals who got phobia for spiders and snakes? Also, do you think it's everyone that can bear the different sounds going on?"

" She was terrified. She trembled and clapped her hand on her mouth? It was awkward because the mansion was encircled by a concrete wall fence. "It couldn't have been an intruder. Perhaps it was a roaming dog, but they didn't own any in the mansion. It couldn't be a dog because there was no way it could have jumped over the wall fence unless it had wings. She was confused. "Oh, mother Mary, I am scared." She hauled the blanket over her head shaking tremendously. Suddenly she vividly recollected the story about ghosts; Her mother had once told her that in some families, the dead return during the night to haunt their enemies or watch over their loved ones.

Epilogue: Now that I have written several of these stories, I find that my old ghosts have started to haunt my dreams yet again. It is amazing that once things are written down, they begin to take on a life of their own. Just remember, if you don’t want things to go bump in the night, don’t tell anyone else about them.
