Silent Scars

Silent Scars

Her mouth gaped as she stared at the muscular wall clothed in a once immaculate white shirt that now had streaks of purple unwanted designs. “I…” The words got struck in her throat as the air became more dangerous by the minute. She couldn’t even look up to see the face of this fearsome monster that reminded her of the blood-sucking humans in ‘vampire diaries’. Her entire body quivered. Her legs were jittery and unable to move. She just stood there transfixed with a quivering body. After what seemed like eternity, someone pulled her roughly to the side where she stood still unable to get a grip of herself.

Dance with a dead one

Dance with a dead one

I never saw anything like that. "And he is scary as hell," She continued and we all couldn't speak just look at her. Even Jack was frozen from her loud and brave voice which was rising with confidence as well as that wind. -"No fucking way." Jack only said and stepped away is he was afraid of her? of a human? of a girl? His face shows fear of Marias's strange poem, which is making goosebumps to my skin too. " Listen to me carefully, now I am here!" she screamed at Jack, and he just tensed even more. I can't believe what I see he never would listen to how somebody is yelling especially in the rhymed way. What the hell she is doing?

Sky says as she jesters with her hands to me. I took a couple of deep breaths before I began to read my poem out loud. Gathering my nerves before I speak. Lifeless Lost and alone left empty without a home. Watching as the wind blows, chattering through hollow bones. Words are nothing but a sound cracking and breaking with each bound. A girl once set to sore left with oozing pores, born in a world torn in two. Amber eyes stare into the starry skies, locks of blonde hair ripped from a head now bare. A face that once held so much grace, revealing split flesh tattered like mesh. Words are nothing but a sound cracking and breaking with each bound. Tears shed out of so many fears, crying in the da

Haunted

Haunted

As soon as she closed her eyes, the dream continued like it was waiting for her to come back to the subconscious world. Amara shuddered with fear as if she was the part of the dream to see the vampire again. The moment his feet landed on the soil of Hamster, the birds making merry in the air of the blue sky made a preternatural chirrup flying away. The dogs howled as if a huge calamity is going to befall. The ether which appeared bright with rays of sun suddenly turned dark with loud thunders. Within a few seconds there was an outpour of rain as if the heaven was also moarning for the origin of disaster in the city.

Though a Mirror Darkly

Though a Mirror Darkly

He stopped scrolling and read the full poem, his skin growing cold with gooseflesh as he did so. Along the shore the cloud waves break, The twin suns sink behind the lake, The shadows lengthen In Carcosa. Strange is the night where black stars rise, And strange moons circle through the skies, But stranger still is Lost Carcosa. Songs that the Hyades shall sing, Where flap the tatters of the King, Must die unheard in Dim Carcosa. Song of my soul, my voice is dead, Die thou, unsung, as tears unshed Shall dry and die in

Under the Moonlight: Alpha's Bride 2

Under the Moonlight: Alpha's Bride 2

Anxiety tightened its grasp on my heart, its rhythm a quick tattoo against my chest. "Is anyone here?" I said tentatively, my voice echoing against unseen walls. A bone-chilling scream pierced the air, instilling primitive horror in me. I bolted, my legs propelling me quicker than reasonable thought, propelled by a dread that outpaced even my own pace. Amid the screaming, I clamped my palms over my ears, vainly hoping to drown out the terror that surrounded me. I ran aimlessly and stupidly, my sole companion the suffocating blackness.

Marked by her rejected mate

Marked by her rejected mate

A scream tore through Lilith's lips, and she crawled away from the grave in sheer terror, panting heavily. As fear consumed her, Lilith felt a presence behind her. Slowly, she turned around, trembling with trepidation. To her astonishment, the dead girl stood there, her sad expression unchanged. They locked eyes, but the dead girl remained silent, her ghostly presence sending shivers down Lilith's spine. Overwhelmed by the sight of the apparition, Lilith rose to her feet and scrambled out of the woods, screaming in fear with each step.

Luna’s Rebellion

Luna’s Rebellion

Sharp as a scream. And when it moves—when it tilts its head—the suns flicker, as if even they are afraid. “Who—” My voice scrapes out, raw from dust and fear. “What are you?” The figure laughs, low and soft, like chains dragging through water. “I am what was before your gods learned to whisper their names. I am the quiet between the first heartbeat and the last breath.” Great. Cryptic horror with delusions of poetry. Perfect. “You sound like a bad hymn,” I snap, because anger is easier than terror. “Try answering the question.”

at first I thought this was going to be the same as all the other stories. dumb main characters with a jealous girl who wants what isn't hers. I was wrong. this book was fantastic. I'm so happy I stuck it out and can't wait until the next book is finished to read.

Still coming along nicely. The Archie plot has hot a good point. I feel there is more to come with Rain in the story and I like that. It is good to acknowledge the news spread of his accomplishments beating down Archie, but I would shorten the side conversations of the random people.

I'm honestly surprised that this story doesn't have more views and reviews. It's well-written, moves at a relaxing pace and the author did an amazing job with the descriptions. The characters has great depth, personalities that stand out. It is also clean and well-edited.
