Her mouth gaped as she stared at the muscular wall clothed in a once immaculate white shirt that now had streaks of purple unwanted designs. “I…” The words got struck in her throat as the air became more dangerous by the minute. She couldn’t even look up to see the face of this fearsome monster that reminded her of the blood-sucking humans in ‘vampire diaries’. Her entire body quivered. Her legs were jittery and unable to move. She just stood there transfixed with a quivering body. After what seemed like eternity, someone pulled her roughly to the side where she stood still unable to get a grip of herself.

As soon as she closed her eyes, the dream continued like it was waiting for her to come back to the subconscious world. Amara shuddered with fear as if she was the part of the dream to see the vampire again. The moment his feet landed on the soil of Hamster, the birds making merry in the air of the blue sky made a preternatural chirrup flying away. The dogs howled as if a huge calamity is going to befall. The ether which appeared bright with rays of sun suddenly turned dark with loud thunders. Anxiety tightened its grasp on my heart, its rhythm a quick tattoo against my chest. "Is anyone here?" I said tentatively, my voice echoing against unseen walls. A bone-chilling scream pierced the air, instilling primitive horror in me. I bolted, my legs propelling me quicker than reasonable thought, propelled by a dread that outpaced even my own pace. Amid the screaming, I clamped my palms over my ears, vainly hoping to drown out the terror that surrounded me. I ran aimlessly and stupidly, my sole companion the suffocating blackness.

A scream tore through Lilith's lips, and she crawled away from the grave in sheer terror, panting heavily. As fear consumed her, Lilith felt a presence behind her. Slowly, she turned around, trembling with trepidation. To her astonishment, the dead girl stood there, her sad expression unchanged. They locked eyes, but the dead girl remained silent, her ghostly presence sending shivers down Lilith's spine. Overwhelmed by the sight of the apparition, Lilith rose to her feet and scrambled out of the woods, screaming in fear with each step.
