Shifted Human

Shifted Human

Tyee I let Dakota take over the shift, and he immediately stretched his stretched his paws. “It’s about time you let me shift.” Dakota smirked. I couldn’t help but roll my eyes. “Alright old man, let’s get going, eh?” Dakota snickered as he got down on his belly for Jennie to climb on. Jennie carefully ran her fingers down our back. “I almost forgot how big you are” She whispered. Dakota nodded his head at Jennie for her to climb on. I felt her fingers grab on to Dakota’s fur, and as soon as she leaned forward, Dakota took off.

Shift

Shift

“Your body might be starting the shifting process, Sky. You can’t just discount discomfort.” I took her wrist and gently moved it away from my neck. “How about I try to make dinner and you tell me about how this whole thing works.” Her eyebrow went up. “Did you…did you not learn about shifting?” Pulling out a knife and cubing up the spam, I laughed. “I mean, you kind of tend to tune out things you don’t think you’re ever going to need. Plus, when everyone around us was shifting, we were pretty much on lock down to make sure we wouldn’t. Since it’s not a birthday thing, Father thought we might shift past the inhibitor.”

10 out of 10! This book had me hooked from start to finish and has me wanting more! Not saying that you have to but this would make a great series, a book for each main character, I'd read them all! Glad to hear you're feeling better, keep taking care of yourself and writing these awesome stories! ...
Jules Robbins
So far, so good. I like the author's writing style and ability to have both strong and weak female & male characters. There are some grammar and spelling errors, but minor and easy to overlook. Better communication regarding updates would be appreciated, but this platform is not for career money.

The King's Mate

The King's Mate

Tamara’s eyes widen in great astonishment while looking at Shahara who stood up and looked at the shelves while talking to her. She already know how to shift at the age of five?! It was incredible! – She remarkably thought. “Shifting can be triggered by various things like anger, too much pain, uneasiness, even too much joy, or loneliness. Heightened emotions can be a probable cause of shifting into our wolf form. We can shift at any time – and it can be uncontrollable – the thing is we must master how to shift back to our human form.” Tamara was attentively listening to whatever Shahara was explaining to her.

Stolen By My Lycan Mate

Stolen By My Lycan Mate

‘I wish to meet Karica and Minerva,’ Zilver chimed in my brain. ‘Shift.’ “Zilver wants to meet both of you. I will shift now,” I told Karica and her face brightened. Stripping down I shifted into Zilver, my bones shortened and lengthened at the same time. Zilver ambled over to our mate and Karica held Minerva to him. He sniffed her and let out a low howl of his approval.

Finally found a werewolf novel that is worth the read, the plot is not as cliche as the ones I've seen on this platform, the characters are so unique and i can't beg for a more toxic romance hehe .... I Just love how the author portrays Karica and I can't wait to see the ML change his bad behavior.

Bound by the Alphas

Bound by the Alphas

I fought the shiver that coursed through my body, and I began to twirl my fingers nervously. “First, I want to explain to you the basic concepts of shifting. When your first shift happens, on the full moon, it’ll feel like another being has woken up inside you. Like you’re sharing your body with another if that makes sense.” It didn’t, but I nodded anyway.

The Alpha's Princess

The Alpha's Princess

I can't help but feel drawn to this being, a strange emotion tightening my chest. I clear my throat nervously. At this sound, the Shifter jumps, as if waking up from a restless sleep. It starts to back away, and even though it looks like a ghost, I can feel a little fear emanating from the creature. "Don't worry... I... won't hurt you. I venture a little closer, watching its movements. Surprisingly, it almost seems to recognize my words, stopping its jerky movements and opening its wide eyes. I don't feel frightened, or even intimidated. As if in a trance, I continue to walk toward the Shifter until I am only inches away.

The gifts of the Moon Goddess

The gifts of the Moon Goddess

The constructors reacted instantly. All three adjusted their axes, redirecting downward flow to compensate. Good. That was what I wanted. “They are chasing the shift,” Lena said, her voice sharp with understanding. “Yes.” “Then we keep moving.” I nodded. We stepped together, not physically far. Just enough. The resonance point shifted with us, dragging the constructors’ focus slightly off center. The ground cracked again. The aerial framework above flickered. “They cannot lock if the anchor point is unstable,” Vale said, almost to himself.

Escaping with the Alpha

Escaping with the Alpha

It could have been to speak, but I knew it would be to argue, so I added, “whether you like it or not.” In the darkness, I could see the whites of her eyes shrink as she glared. I called Aster forward and prepared to shift. I’d turned eighteen a month ago and had been shifting ever since, but the memory of the pain of my first time still lingered slightly, making me brace myself. This time, nothing came. ‘Aster, come on,’ I said in my mind. ‘I don’t know what’s going on,’ he replied. ‘I can’t come forward. I can’t even partially shift. I’m stuck.’

A fun-light hearted story with the glitz of magic and spook of relationships. This story felt pocket sized, with no ego and great grammar and sentence structure. My only request is a touch of diversity, to make it more relatable to more people. A lovely weekend escape, fun from beginning to end!

Alpha Matchmaking System

Alpha Matchmaking System

But it seems her parents never taught her about shifting. “It’s your first shift,” I said softly through the mindlink. “It’s normal. Your body isn’t used to it yet.” “My bones still hurt,” she whimpered. “Lance… I don’t know how to make it stop.” First shifts were always like this, but it was less painful because we were always taught on how shifting works, but it seems was never taught which made hers seem painful. “It will pass,” I told her gently. “But you need to breathe… focus… picture yourself turning back to your human form.”
