As I stepped out of the elevator, my mood was great, and the stress from the earlier meeting somehow disappeared. My secretary greeted me, “Sir, someone sent you a gift. I placed it inside.” A gift? I wonder who it's from. I nodded and went straight to my office. Upon entering, I immediately saw the gift my secretary mentioned – a black box with a red ribbon on top. I furrowed my brows, wondering who could have sent it. I approached my desk and took the box. There was no indication of the sender. I examined it closely before opening. “Sh*t!” I dropped the box and took a step back as soon as I saw its what inside.

“Some secrets don't stay buried.” Elena’s vision blurred for a moment. She glanced around the classroom — every chair in place, every shelf neat. No sign anyone had been there. Her heart pounded so hard it hurt. Outside, thunder rumbled softly — a low warning that crawled through the air. She clutched the note, the words burning into her palm. Some secrets don’t stay buried. For a second, she thought she saw movement outside the window — a silhouette by the gate. But when she blinked, it was gone.

I narrowed my eyes at him, watching as he stood up and let out a groan, "can you take me to that girl? I nodded, standing up as well. I then began walking in the direction of the basement with him following me quietly and closely behind. After a few more steps, I opened the mental door, revealing the girl who was sitting on a chair with her eyes closed, her head thrown back and soft snores coming out from her. Maybe I left her out there for too long? "Athena?" The name flew out of Alessio's mouth which made me furrow my brows in confusion. He walked towards her, taking rather large steps, "fucking hell," he breathed out once he was standing right in front of her, "is she dead?"

"We can become friends secretly, right? Jenny, I don't know if you feel the same way but I felt a strong connection between us." She... she felt it too, the weird feeling. "How can that work?" "We can hangout secretly. Please?" I moved closer to her and kissed her cast "Sure thing, Ms. Miracle." ~~ I woke up in an unfamiliar bed the next morning. I looked around and remembered everything last night. A big smile invaded my lips the moment I laid my eyes on this beautiful lady spooning me. "Morning, Jen." In its horn it says ‘Tiffany; mystery and enchantment is calling you. The fourth carving lights up. A ballerina dancing in a pirouette with a rose in her mouth. “I can’t see the message” Tiffany says, looking around the sculpture. “Here it is?” Katrina says, pointing to the bottom of the tutu. The message is hidden amongst the lace etched into the ice. ‘Tiffany; your rose is a not far away.’

Clarissa's expression turned serious, too, as if she hadn't figured it out either. Right then, the sound of the shop door opening echoed from the front. My mother was back. My heart jumped. I instinctively looked at Clarissa, panic flashing across my face. "Hide for a minute," she whispered quickly. "I'll try to feel your mom out and see why she did this." For some reason, hearing her say that made me feel a little calmer. I nodded and quickly slipped behind the curtain nearby. "Hey, someone's in here and didn't open the door?" my mother called out from the front. "I thought this place was empty."

Each day, there was a short period called ‘private time’ that both Martin and Celine could do anything they wanted without another person’s presence. The time ranged from just one hour to three to four hours. Celine used it to call her friends or surf the internet. And Martin continued his reading hobby, checking emails and buying groceries. Or he tried to get in touch with his best friend who was hiding somewhere far and away. After Celine went into the bedroom to call her friends, he got out the spare phone he had secretly bought. Martin got into a small empty storage room inside the villa to ensure there was no wiretap, any hidden camera, or microphone. One could never be too careful.

Seungcheol offered his hand and supported her so she could go inside in comfort. “Woah.” Celine is in awe when she saw the beautiful garden behind the huge bushes. There are bonsai trees lined in the perfect lawn. In the center, there was a pond as large as small lake with flowering lily pads and a wooden bridge that crossed in the middle. The flower bed were a riot of May colour, and even on close inspection, they were weed-free.

Stephanie I wiped my forehead off. I was sweating bullets while I worked in my garden. It was early spring as I started working on my vegetable garden. I had already taken care of all my herbs and all of my flowers out front. I added new flowers every year and this was the first year that Adaline was able to help.
