I said softly. He didn’t press further, but I could feel his eyes on me, gentle, not prying. When I finally turned to face him, he was smiling again. “You’ve changed since the first day I met you,” he said. I laughed. “How so?” “You smile more now,” he replied. “It suits you.” For a moment, I didn’t know what to say. “Maybe you just bring out the good side of people.” He chuckled. “Or maybe I’m just lucky enough to see it.”

he said, laughing. "I love you, Hansen," I said, looking at him, and he kissed me tenderly, caressing my face. "You know I still remember the first time I saw you; I had waited for you all my life, and seeing how beautiful you are made the wait worth it." "I love you, thank you for not giving up, for fighting for our love," I said, looking at him. "When I see you, I realized that I was fortunate. You still didn't realize how fucking stupid I can sometimes be. I had to take advantage of the opportunity don't you think?" he said smiling.

When he didn't let go, and she too started to feel amused, a smile slipped past her lips. "If you are done making fun of me, let me go" she mumbled. He finally lifted his head from her chest, and looked at her, still grinning. His entire face lit up when he is smiling like that. And absolutely no one would have gotten the opportunity to look at him like this. "Making fun of you? Do you know how cute you look now?" he complimented her for the first time.

His grin killed me the moment my eyes laid on his face. It’s so embarrassing!

Hearing those words from him, I smiled to myself and murmured to myself "You are not the first person telling me this".

SAMANTHA’S POV. “Today, right now,” I threw my barriers in the air and walked up to him. “You’re not deceiving me are you?” I asked waringly. “No, the first time I saw you, I knew you would be the one for me,” he responded. “When was the first time you saw me?” I asked curiously. “Have your seat, we have all the day, remember,” he uttered smoothly. “Okay,” I stomped back to my seat.

But I grabbed him and twisted my body so I was facing him. I said “ I remember the first day I saw you. It was at Joe’s we locked eyes, we never talked about that moment. But that was the first day you made me smile.” I took a sip of my drink. I didn’t think you noticed me, but you made me smile and it was a feeling I hadn’t had, ever.” I chugged the rest of my drink. The bartender caught my eye and I pointed to my glass. She smiled and came back moments later.

Her eyes widen. "No way" She gasps in disbelief, shaking her head microscopically. "Yes way." I grin as I answer. "I knew it! I knew I didn't have that much cash, I never have cash! You sneaky devil!" She laughs quietly, her eyes still wide as she digests the information. "Always taking care of me, even when I didn't realise it" She adds in a much dreamier tone, gazing at me with a wide smile and wonder in her eyes. The first time i saw that look I remember thinking that I would crawl thousands of miles over broken glass for her to smile at me like that. Now she does it everyday.

He stayed silent as I laughed. “Goodness, it took me a while to recognize that look on your face and where I had seen it. It's so funny,” I said, giggling more before I turned to him. I didn't expect the soft expression on his face when I looked back. I was about to ask when it came to me. I laughed and smiled. It was my first laugh after… I instantly sobered up, all traces of humor fading away. As he stared back at me, I swore that I saw a slight disappointment.
