Selene Comics Novels & Stories

Selene told us this. I closed the book with more force than necessary, pressing my palms against my eyes. Selene. The Moon Goddess herself had visited my dreams, had called me by a name I’d only just discovered, Amala Luna Velasco. She’d spoken in riddles and half-truths, offering both confirmation and confusion. The Copper Wolf will choose her own path. Much is still to be written. Decisions made will determine the outcome.

- I backed my reason for attending in a calm voice. Rachel's tensed brows relaxed a bit, "So what do you actually intend to do. Dive into the wolves den unprepared?!" "Yeah, do you even have a plan?" - Marceline leaned in close, her voice slightly high pitched. "Not really." - I raised my brows, shrugging my shoulders nonchalantly. "What?!!!!." - Rachel and Marceline leaned in together, exclaiming loudly and at the same pace. "You accepted her invitation without an ace up your sleeves, Selene you've got to be kidding me!!!" - Rachel groaned deeply before relapsing into her seat.

Selene POV "Absolutely not!" "What do you mean 'absolutely not'? You are my mate, Aiden, not my master." "Do you think any wolf would allow his mate to walk alone into an obvious trap? Especially one that involved her ex-lover?" "I am no defenceless she-wolf. I am the daughter of the Moon Goddess and a god damn Deity. I have lived for Millenia, Aiden. This isn't my first war." "But it is mine!"

I ask. The beautiful woman walks around me; her long, pale blue dress catches on the tall grass, but she seems to move effortlessly, like she is gliding above it. Her dress sparkles as the moonlight catches it, like it is sprinkled with tiny diamonds, and her perfume overwhelms me; it smells so alluring and sweet, like jasmine and vanilla with a hint of lemon. “I am Selene, the goddess of the moon.” Her delicate arm reaches up, and her slender fingers point toward the large bright orb in the sky; it looks like she is holding the moon in the palm of her hand.

"Selene loved him. Everyone said so. She was the 'Golden Luna' of the North." "Gold is just lead with a prettier coat," Hala spat. "She was a shadow wrapped in light. She didn't want Kaelen; she wanted the Obsidian throne. And she was working with the very enemies who burned your home to get it." "You're lying," I breathed, though a cold dread began to settle in my stomach. I remembered Selene sneaking out of the pack house at night, the way she would return smelling not of our forest, but of sulfur and scorched earth. I had thought she was meeting a lover. Could it have been... a conspirator?

“I’m in.” Yes! I scream internally, two losers are set to fight themselves while I relax and wait for my turn to shine. Stauri, when I become Luna of Blood pack, I will suppress you and kill you so that you will enjoy your bitterness with Selene , the Moon goddess in whatever hemisphere she is in. You call out Selene without respect, you threaten to kill me when you become Luna, you don’t even know if the person you are collaborating with is trustworthy or only trying to fool you. Stauri speaks harshly but I ignore her.

“I’m glad you showed up.” “I’m not glad I came, so why am I here?” She chuckled, low and amused. “Oh Lilith, relax” That was the problem with Selene. Everything she touched, every word she spoke, had a game behind it. “You are really working with Theo,” I said dryly. “Or should I say… on him?” Her lashes fluttered innocently. “And you are working with Nolan. And Cassian.” She shrugged. “None of us choose uninteresting company.”

He didn’t fight them, just kept staring at Selene’s writhing form, his rage dissolving into blank horror as they dragged him away. After the Moon-Gathering, I returned to the city to finalize the transfer of my shares in Kael’s company. The Pack gossip reached me effortlessly. Selene lost the unborn pup. The Healers said the damage from the silver-tipped boots was too severe. They had to perform a full hysterectomy. She can never conceive again. The shock was too great. Her mind broke. She’s in a private sanatorium now, babbling to anyone who will listen that she’s the Luna of the Silvermane Pack, demanding they cover her claws in Dawn-Fang chips so everyone will envy her.
