Sacrifice in Shadows

Sacrifice in Shadows

"Matthew, did you hear that? She says we're not even human. I'll show her what happens when she messes with us." The assistant's smile vanished, replaced by a storm of rage as she moved to hit me, but she did not see it coming. Slap! "Zip it. She's right. You're not human. You're nothing but my pawn, and you're fooling yourself if you think you can take her place. "Didn't I tell you to stay out of my sight? If you have trouble with your hearing, I don't mind helping with that."

Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King

Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King

“We never left. You think you won? Armed forces were unnecessary in the actual war. He laughed then bit down. A crunch. Poison. He had already departed before I could stop. My mind wandered, unencumbered by the pain of not having to worry about what peace brought. I was met by Seraphina at the gates upon my return to camp. “Well?” she asked. “They're already here.” We went back into the war chamber.? The traitor's emblem was tossed onto the table by me. They've integrated into our group. This was not just a war. The game is now played with the aim of creating shadows. The darkness shone through her face. "At this point, we are able to see in the dark.". We stared at each other. Not as mates.

Shadows of Us

Shadows of Us

When she had a fever, Roy sped home all night just to get her to the doctor. There were moments of genuine connections, intimacy, and the start of the mornings with hugs and kisses, so much so that Willow once lost herself in his embrace. However, the incident six months ago was a wake-up call. She would always be a substitute, standing in Melanie’s shadows in receipt of favors and protection. Yearning for what was not hers would come with a price. Accepting reality, Willow carried out the remainder of the contract and walked away without a fuss. The lights were out, and the doors were closed at the dorms. Two figures stood there, confronting each other on the dark, quiet campus.

THE LUNA REBIRTH: REVENGE UNDER THE MOON

THE LUNA REBIRTH: REVENGE UNDER THE MOON

With a scream of anguish, Liora plunged her blade through his chest. The golden light flared, swallowing the shadows. “I’m sorry,” she sobbed, holding him close. Caelum smiled faintly as his body crumbled into motes of silver and black. “Thank you… little star.” The Shadow’s Whisper As his essence scattered, a faint, cold voice slithered into her mind: “Do you think this is over? Where there is light… There will always be a shadow.” Liora collapsed to her knees, clutching her chest as golden light bled from her body.

The Lycan's Luna: Reclaiming her Throne

The Lycan's Luna: Reclaiming her Throne

Varra waited until the door clicked shut before speaking. “There is a shadow around you, child,” she said. I raised a brow, and crossed my arms. “Is it that obvious I’m not thrilled about getting married?” I said in between choked laughter. She didn’t laugh. She didn’t even smile. Her face was grave. “No,” she said slowly. “This is older. Deeper. It clings to you like rot clings to buried bones.” The room felt colder. Or maybe it was just me. “I’ve seen it before,” she went on. “Right before the last war. Right before your brother Thorne left this place in rage!"

Shadows in Arms

Shadows in Arms

"Miss Sinclair? Your brother asked me to tell you something. He said to remind you that fighting for people you love is never a mistake. Even when it feels impossible." Tears burned my eyes. "Tell him I heard him. And tell him I love him." Dr. Monroe nodded and disappeared through the surgical doors. I sat in the waiting room, covered in blood, exhausted beyond measure, and felt something shift inside me. This was not the ending I wanted. Not even close. But it was a beginning. A chance to rebuild from honesty instead of manipulation. To create something real from the wreckage of lies. My phone buzzed. A text from Elena.

Shadows of the past

Shadows of the past

he responded, his tone filled with concern. In that moment, Natasha's mind swiftly traveled back to the night when she had been attacked. She vividly recalled how her vision had cleared from the haze of alcohol, as she witnessed a brave young man valiantly fighting off the robbers. His courageous act had compelled him to snatch the pistol from their grasp, forcing them to flee. But what remained etched in her memory was the profound impact of his captivating eyes, which had instantly bewitched her, giving birth to a singular emotion she could only define as "Love at first sight."

Crimson's POV "So….some…one…. someone….is….is …. lurking…in the …. Dark," Katrina said in between coughs, I turned and saw a shadow moving round. Gifted Shadows

Gifted Shadows

I snatched a doily off of the side table and tried to wrap my arm but it soaked with blood instantly. Hashem was slowly getting to his feet and I turned to face him. “You are a traitor and you will die a coward’s death,” I said, in a whisper but loud enough for him to hear. I reached for my shard as he lunged toward me with a piece of glass. I was just barely able to move and he tried again to swipe at me, this time he connected and got my side. FUCK! I was going to pass out soon, it was too much. Blood, there was blood everywhere. The yelling, the voices and the footsteps were everywhere now, close and I heard the voices yelling in English.

Loved this story. I wish their was a sequel. I wanted her with Fletch but Javi is just as amazing. Great story. Loved it talked about their hardships. Most importantly, for me, that she was a Black girl (biracial) trying to fit in and go through life.

The Shadow Effect

The Shadow Effect

He was shocked at the power of the shadow and yet he couldn't attack it via normal means, he managed to pull the pillow away from her face and heard her breathing hitch, as she managed to take in the air to sustain her lungs. The shadow then turned his ire towards Matthias, stabbing him in the chest with a poisoned knife. Matthias screamed in agony as the fire of the poison worked through his system, before falling to the ground next to Emma. As they both lay there dying from the venom in their system, the door burst open as Katana and Viktor entered with brutal force. Katana had faced such an evil shadow once before and knew exactly how to stop this evil with a silent magic spell. With each
