She is relieved. "Did you take a picture for me?", She asked. Sam sigh. He brought out his phone and showed her a picture. Miriam grabbed the phone. " Oh my God! She looks so much like me! My daughter, she is so big now. My baby has grown up", And she let her tears flow.

I lied. She sighs heavily and I feel even sadder when I look into her sad eyes. “I just want you here.” She chokes a cry as I see her tears building behind her eyelids. “I know it sounds so selfish because you are busy with your promotions, writing for your next album and interviews. But sometimes I wish that I don’t have to share a big part of you to the world.”

She acted embarrassed by them, but I thought they were cute. When times were hard for her, we’d go there and just sit in silence, listening to the trickle. She would only tell me the good and kept all the bad to herself. I hated it. I wanted to be someone whom she could release everything to, if only to make her feel better for a moment.

She whispers under her breath, some more tears sliding down her cheeks. “ I guess in a way like me, you never had a chance to live the life you wanted for yourself. ” Her hand reaches out to the back of my hand as she cradles it, this time, trying to comfort me even if she is the one who is crying. My heart skips a beat. She wants to live. No matter how much she thinks she wants to die and end this fucking dejected life, deep down, she still wants to live a life of her choosing.
