WRITER’S POV Jack remembered there was a time in his life when loneliness was his only companion, the time he was lying in a hospital bed, barely breathing, yet clinging to life. Back then, the room had been quiet. No one had sat beside him waiting for him to open his eyes, to smile, or to show the smallest sign of life. He thought that was the loneliest he had ever felt… until now.

“I believed no one could understand what I was feeling. I kept everyone at a distance because I didn’t want to get hurt again.” She looked at Verath and smiled. “Then I met people who refused to let me stay alone.” The bond on her wrist glowed faintly. “I learned that loneliness isn’t the absence of people. It’s believed that no one would miss you if you disappeared.” Noxaris looked away. A memory resurfaced in Elara’s mind. A younger version of him sat beneath the silver tree, staring at the stars. ‘Why are you here by yourself?’ she had asked.

Too fast to even react or make a protest, Clay smirks as he crashes his lips unto him as the door closes. Now, tell me what could it be? She asked and others nodded. I felt so touched. "No cuties, thanks. I will figure out a way soon" I said and they all nodded. "So should i tell you a story before lunch arrives" I said to ease the tension. "Yes Elva" They shouted happily scurrying back to their beds. I smiled and began ; Once upon a time,there lived a woman who lives alone in a small cottage with her cat..She has no family. She feels lonely but her cat always keep her company and provides her comfort.

Next morning, Leona had another nightmare which has no plan to stop. Her hands reach her shoulders to stretch, looking around the room. Somehow it looks really big and lonely. One thing that Vasquez said was that Loneliness is the scariest thing, he wasn't wrong but wasn't right either. From the very beginning, she is very much comfortable with loneliness. But it doesn't suit when it comes to Vasquez. His single appearance around him is enough but his missing can bring the true definition of loneliness.

“They are stuck in between wolf and man. Too human to howl and too much of a beast to speak. The worst part is that they are completely cut out of any Pack link.” I felt my eyes grow wide in horror, and my hand slapped over my mouth. I knew just how lonely it was to be alone without the Pack bond. I wouldn't wish that fate on anyone. It was harrowing. The loneliness ate at you from the inside until you were a shell for desperation to slowly fill with its noxious, clinging sludge. “That's horrible.” I whispered.
