My smile widened as I tilted it in my hand, studying it with interest. “I like it. We don’t have this at the Goldenstorm pack. The taste… it’s pretty unique,” I murmured, tilting the bottle upside down to catch the last few drops on my lips. When I did, I ran my tongue slowly over my bottom lip, humming in satisfaction as my eyes fluttered shut. Just when the silence threatened to stretch endlessly, Silas finally spoke. Marcus grabs my waist and pushes me behind him, “Your highness.” He did a bow-like gesture. “What are you doing?” Marcus opens his mouth to say something but doesn’t. “ And do not even think about lying. Your job was to stay hidden and to keep your eyes on her.” The purple eyes slowly faded to gold and Marcus sighed.

"We have reached our destination, so may you please ladies and gentlemen fasten your seat belts as we are about to land." The pilot spoke through the speaker.
