It's just my bed and some of the things I've left in here such as some of my old books, my school projects, my puzzle boxes, and scattered puzzle pieces on my old study table. I was surprised to see the stories I've written when I was in high school as well as my sketchpads where I attempted to nurture my drawing skills even if I really suck in that field. Archie smiles and hands over the sketchbook to her. Melanie mouthed a ‘thank you’ as she collect the book from him. She flip the first page and smile at what he drew. It was a sketch of a tree with no leave. She flip to the next page and her eyes widen in shock, it was a drawing of a bird with no eyes. “This is what I called ‘masterpiece’,” she nods at the sketch which sent her to a land of fantasy. She keeps on flipping through the book till she gets to the middle of the book. Archie cross his arms over his chest as he wanted to see the look on her face in the next sketch.

STORY CONTINUES BELOW I slowly slid off the window sill and made my way over to the bag. Master just watched me from the corner of his eye as I crawled onto the couch so I was in front of the bag. 12 I cautiously lifted the bag so it was facing me. My mouth fell open as soon as I spotted the thing inside. 8 I carefully pulled out the large sketchbook, admiring the black leather cover and the silver binding. 622 Holy crap... The ones I would get as a child were barely even as big as my hand, but this... 56 I couldn't even think of how to describe it.

Groaning, she grabbed the pencil and started to fulfil her heart's desire. She slumped onto the couch and sketched on the first page of the notepad. She didn't realize how the time flew by, as she spent her time perfecting her sketch. She drew a serpent that was peeking out of a human skull, ready to spit its poison to the next person who dared disturb him. She was almost done with it when Frank entered the room. Gasping, she hastened to hide the notepad in the fear of angering him. She had used something that belonged to him without his permission.

Everything that inspires me ends up in one of my sketchbooks. On one hand, I'm excited to show my "lovely" boss some of my drawings because I'm proud of what I've put into each of my sketchbooks. On the other hand, I'm terrified of putting myself out there, of being judged. Art isn't for everyone. I started drawing mainly out of boredom. I was in that fangirl phase obsessed with Harry Potter, convinced that soon a owl would fly through my window to deliver my Hogwarts letter. I didn't know how to pass the time, so I decided to try drawing Hedwig, and that's when I discovered I was incredibly good at it.
