Carson had a look of realization on his face. “What nightmare?” Kira asked in confusion. She was beginning to feel out of the loop with the two of them. They had all grown up together and never hid things, yet she suddenly had no idea what was going on. “I felt like I was having one about two nights ago. It was long and I couldn’t wake up.” Anderson explained. He felt bad doing this to them, but to him it was necessary. “Sleep paralysis?” Kira spoke in realization. To which Anderson nodded. He was glad things were flowing to his pace. He did not have to do much explaining.

Sleep paralysis: when you cannot move or speak while waking up or falling asleep. I've just been having so many nightmares these days and they haunt me every single time I shut my eyes to sleep.” Goosebumps ran through my body as I talked about my experiences. “I… I try to push those thoughts away but they just won't stop. I cannot make them stop.” Sweat beaded on my face as I narrated my ordeal while he listened with rapt attention.

Even then my exhausted body feared Craven, recognizing the precise moment that I felt his grip on my ankles and his cold lingering touch climbing up my legs to settle over me. I breathed shallowly and willed my arms and hands to move to defend myself but my body was paralyzed in sleep. Soon he was humping away at me. Driving his searing hot spear into the center of my body mercilessly. But somewhere in my subconscious I was able to recognize that this god-awful moment was different then reality.
