My phone buzzed; I quickly picked up; it was a message from Cassandra. “Oh dear, I'm really sorry but an emergency just popped up. I promise to see you tomorrow.” Tears welled up in my eyes, I had no one else to go to and the moment Alpha Scott returned, it will be over for me. I wouldn't be able to stall further.
