Pregnant from the man I hate - A Billionaire Romance

Pregnant from the man I hate - A Billionaire Romance

The water rose to my knees. Ice cold. It didn't smell like sea. It smelled like a hospital curse, after disinfectant and rain on asphalt. And that was worse. Because suddenly I knew: The water didn't come out of the house. It came from me. Every breath made the waves beat up around my legs. The blue book lay open on the table, although the water would have long gone away have to. The golden scripture still glowed on the last page:

Blood And Water

Blood And Water

I knew for sure I was going to drown if there was no flash of miracle. What was I even thinking? Swim to town… I went down again, then came up trying to keep my stride alive. Stream water was a hydro-oxygen sodium chloride. I just kept on struggling, somewhere from a distance, I could hear Papa's voice saying “Keep on struggling son, it’s not over” his comforting words trying to erase my misery. He always had words to motivate a drained spirit. I just kept on striding though I knew that it was of no use. I went deep again my eyed closed as enveloped my ears. I gasped for breadth but caught none in return, by body shivering in response to the cold water, my eyes were becoming hazy, probably d

Alpha’s regret : The return of his rejected mate

Blocks osmosis. "It's starving you," I said. "Fix it!" Maya begged. "You are the Sun! Burn it!" "If I burn it," I calculated, "I evaporate the water. You still die of thirst." "Then what?" I looked at the red film. It was biological chaos. A swarm of microscopic spores designed to separate water from life. "I have to organize it," I said. "I have to make it heavy." I stepped into the pool. I sank to the bottom.

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

So I was going to give the books that I borrowed from the French town library to him; they were probably past the due date for returning. I had lost hope of finding anything useful in those books and scrolls because I went through almost everything, even re-read a few books when spending time cooped up in Allena's room on rainy days. I learned a lot of irrelevant stuff but nothing on how to find the curse. I was skimming through stuff one last time before meeting Logan but something I read last week caught my eye again. This book was about curses so I had skipped through the part that said 'Water has memory' and moved onto the topic of destroying curse scrolls. I paid more attention this tim

I didn’t see that coming in chapter 80. I know why it had to happen this way and how it’s going to pay off but I really loved reading their little side story and feel sad that it ended and he will be grieving. It’s one of the best redemption arcs and would like to read more about him.
Christy Pfeiffer

Empress of the World

Empress of the World

Aurora read it from cover to cover many times in an attempt to memorize it. "While the book was helpful, it was far from complete. I had no idea what a selkie was, and they were some of my favorite creatures we have met thus far." Aurora finished the berry and wiped her mouth with a cloth from her cloak. "Speaking of selkies, I need some water. Surely the water entrance that Phoca talked of is around here somewhere." The selkie had mentioned that water creatures could enter through an underground spring that connected the lake outside to the Land of Magic within the barrier.

The Bite That Changed Everything

The Bite That Changed Everything

“Greg! She’s trying to pit us against each other! You have to believe me–” “Believe you?” Greg laughed suddenly, sounding like he was about to go crazy. “You vile, shameless liar!” Julian pulled me behind him, his palm pressing against my back through the fabric, warmth seeping in. He handed me a cup of water, his voice low and steady. “Don’t get angry. It’s not worth it.”

The Tycoon's Forbidden Desire

The Tycoon's Forbidden Desire

The water of the Gulf of Guinea, once a dark and silent mystery, now shimmered with a bioluminescent violet, reacting to the joyful, unpolished thoughts of the new world. The Engineering of the End Sarah held the 1956 Ledger in her lap. The physical book was a relic of a bygone age—a collection of yellowed vellum and ink that felt impossibly fragile compared to the Living Glass spires that now pierced the clouds above them. Yet, the book was full. Every page, from Thomas Vance’s initial, frantic sketches of gas separators to Elena’s final, sprawling novel outlines, was covered in the data of a billion lives. It was no longer a contract between two families; it was the Autobiography of a Spec

Bankrupting the Alpha: Crowned by the Dragon King

Bankrupting the Alpha: Crowned by the Dragon King

I closed my eyes. Hunter. The book trembled. Color slowly spread across the blank pages. Not ordinary ink. Watercolors. Soft blues. Greens. Silver. As though someone were painting directly onto the paper. An image slowly formed. Hunter. Beside him... Molly. They stood near a lake deep inside a crystal cave. Behind them... A waterfall. No one spoke. The paintings moved. Not like ordinary pictures. Like memories. The water shimmered around them. Glowing softly. Another page turned on its own.

The Devil's Chosen Luna: A Werewolf Romance

The Devil's Chosen Luna: A Werewolf Romance

Stormy sighed and said, " Yeah, my brother is right. We're just here to cool off like you're both doing. There's no cause for alarm. We won't harm you. Enjoy yourselves." We dived into the water and before we knew it, the girl stopped swimming, came out of the water, put their dresses on and fled. Stormy and I were dumbfounded. We didn't allow their awkwardness to stop our fun, anyway. As we continued swimming, we saw a book on one of the rocks around the waterfalls. As my curiosity took hold of me, I got out of the water to take a look at the book.
