"Don't you dare bully Joyce in front of me!" His hand clapped on my injured arm, and I cried out in pain. He turned a deaf ear, his eyes fixed on Joyce. She murmured, "Selena is hurt." Colin glanced at me, sneering, "If she were really hurt, would she be standing here demanding payment?" My heart sank at his harsh words. He always assumed the worst of me.

“Daddy stop!” Breen staggered back, blood seeping from his mouth. He then stepped forward again. Jared Noble was by no means a small man and he looked like a bear about to put a smaller animal down. He step forward and swung again. Breen caught his hand and stopped it in mid slam. Victoria clasped her hands over her mouth. Breen leaned forward and spoke low, “Because you are Victoria’s father. I will not fight you.” Jared looked into his eyes as he let out a roar and pulled his other arm back.

He asked. “Follow the smoke.” Gili chimed in above the branches and he jumped off. “She’s near the lakeside.” He pointed his mouth to the direction of the thin smoke, just a distance away from them. “Hey! Don’t mess up our fight. He can get her once he defeats me.” Amaris stepped his left foot forward and lifted his sword across his face, challenging Caius to attack him. “Ahhhh… This is so annoying.” Gili whined and puffed on Amaris’ sword, turning the sword back to stone.

Alex said as he moved out of the waterfall. He set me on the ground after we reached the land. BOOM! There was a huge explosion causing me to stagger backward. Alex held me preventing my fall. Huge clouds of vapor erupted clouding our vision. The temperature rose higher and higher till it had reached a scalding level. Alex enveloped us in a shield of energy to protect us from the impact of detonation. When the clouds finally cleared there was nothing left. The waterfall had vaporized and the Fire Cube had vanished. It was as if there never had been a waterfall before.
