Hanging in the balance

Hanging in the balance

Jackson said taking a big bite out of a cold meat filled croissant, show casing he was not willing to go first either. Sasha rolled her eyes as she took a sip of her orange juice and setting her chicken back aside after swallowing her first bite, she picked up her note pad “well shit, from what I’ve read and compared to the gifts you have been displaying since the Goddess left your body, you are either a seer or an oracle, an Archeangel or a god in your own right” this caused Scarlette to frown “yeah I’ve also found there are other gods apart from Life and Creation.” Lydia added her bit of information. “They are called supreme beings” Gabriel provided. This was not something he had to resear

Teach Me New Tricks

Teach Me New Tricks

“We were just about to get into Aphrodite’s story. I’d love for you to stand in for the part of Hephaestus.” Christopher wrinkled his nose. “The ugly husband?” I couldn’t help but burst into laughter at his disgust. “That would be the one. I’m glad to see someone did their homework.” “Great,” he mumbled. “Let me put this down.” He walked to the seat he’d sat in the day before and deposited his briefcase before coming to stand beside me. “Aphrodite was a goddess and of course, that meant she was naturally beautiful. You will soon find out the family trees in Greek mythology go straight up with very few branches. They loved inbreeding.”

Bound By Deception:The Alpha’s Betrayal

Jenn’s POV The place Osiris was talking about was a mountain known as The Spire. I’d always thought it was a myth or no longer in existence because the place was mostly written about in books, especially the ones my mother shared with me sometimes. In the ancient times, it had been home to the druids who were once part of the realm, but according to the stories, they’d been wiped out during the Great war that led to separation of the realm. If that place still existed and Selene who had a compulsion power lived there, there was only one conclusion to come to.

The Lycan King's forgotten Goddess

The Lycan King's forgotten Goddess

Pain tore through Freya so violently it felt like her skull might split apart. She barely realized Eros was holding her until his voice cut through the chaos inside her head. “Freya.” The library blurred around her. Firelight twisted strangely against stone walls while fragments of memory crashed into one another too quickly to understand. She saw celestial gates taller than mountains. Silver fire consuming entire skies. Ancient beings screaming beneath chains forged from divine power. And Lealla. God. Lealla standing in the center of it all.

FABLE

FABLE

Each telling of the tale varies, but the central theme is always that of a sea witch or sorceress who finds or kidnaps a beautiful girl, and raises her until fate intervenes in the form of a young man. Of particular interest to students of Celtic mythology is the male character, a romantic yet disruptive force. He is always depicted as either a seductive demon in the form of a beautiful young man, or a celestial angel, a pirate, a faery prince or a chivalrous knight. In light of this, the myth is notable for its connection to the band of heroes known by several names (most commonly the Fiacha Rudraigh or the Fianna) – a group of five warrior princes who appear in the Mythological, Ulster and

Hush:The Secret of the Wind

Hush:The Secret of the Wind

The shuffling of the book pages can be heard throughout the lecture hall and the headmaster started his speech again. “100 years ago in the year 928 before the great war, the gods and goddesses realm was still open. Every land in Sinofiory, the Island of Llfhame, the Mountains of Bekdu, The plains of Rastamund, The Ocean of Ormosis, the Floating City of Sarynaya, the Forest of Congastu, the Dessert of Dryagona, and the Sky Castle of Haliya have the guidance of their respective gods. Focusing on our empire the Sinofiory Island of Llfhame, we have the wind goddess as our guardian. The three cities of Llfhame were blessed by the goddess. Every now and then she comes down and visits the cities.

Mate of an Alpha Prime

Mate of an Alpha Prime

He shrugged. “Myths and legends are all based in some kind of reality.” She guessed that he was right. Sybil came back to present time and stared out the window just thinking. She had been reading up on a few things. Her time with Niba had made her think about herself a little bit. Niba kept calling her a pythoness. One who was connected to all branches of magic but tended to master in one area quickly. Pythons were rare because they were able to fully learn other branches of magic where most witches were only ever to truly master one. Niba said the last known here was Morgana. That her brother Merlin had disappeared some time ago to an unknown fate. Well guess Areis comment about myths and

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

There was something called a lament by Thoth, an Egyptian god known to the Romans as Mercury. 'Gods will leave earth and forsake Egypt. Only tales of it will be left which the future generations won't believe. Once humans lose their connection with the spirit, they will lead a life solely driven by materialism. There will come a time when the earth will be purged with fierce fires, war, and disease. Order will be brought back into the cosmos and nature will heal.'

This book is my kind of escape. The sequence of events and lifestyle are surprisingly accurate, the story is interesting at the same time with something new coming up every chapter. I definitely encourage well thought out books like this. Keep up the good work!
