Ni minsan hindi sumagi sa isip ni Clyde na darating ang araw na mararanasan niyang ibigin at umibig nang tunay. Sa isang iglap, biglang nagkaroon ng kabuluhan ang dati ay magulo niyang buhay nang makilala niya si Calista. Subalit ang sayang ipinadama sa kan'ya ng tadhana ay hindi rin nagtagal nang isang gabi, natagpuan na lamang niyang walang buhay si Calista at ang mga magulang nito sa kanilang tahanan.
