Electra looked up at him and he saw the terror in her eyes.
“You have nothing to fear from this pack. And certainly not from anyone in this house.” He told the timid girl.
“Yes, sir,” she whispered as tears filled her eyes.
Aiden leaned down and kissed her temple, taking in her scent. Under the smell of soap and detergent, and the slight smell of his son and granddaughters, was a very faint scent. If you weren’t looking for it, it would be missed.

A hibernating she-wolf, to be exact. He felt his wolf, Obsidian, push at her wolf. Letting his own wolf take the lead, he watched as she sniffed the air and then curled back up.
