After a few minutes, I plunge into her one final time, letting my cock pulse inside her with my release. “Clean yourself up and then be waiting on the bed for me when I return.” She just nods. I redress and head to my study. When I enter, I seem him sitting in front of my desk, he looks nervous and I can smell the fear on him. He’s not even trying to hide it. “Well… how close is the lead hunter to death?” “Sir, I’ve come to learn he been stored… completely.” What? Restored? How can this be. I have worked too long for this plan to fail.

Hunter tilts his head, challenging me. I know he’s waiting for me to take the bait. If I agree, he’ll ask why I don’t become the luna, and if I disagree, he will feign offense and make some ridiculous demand to push me in that direction. I have no intention on falling for his trap. “I simply mean the moon goddess knows better than we. Wouldn’t you agree?” It’s always been a hot topic of discussion, but according to lore, Hunter is a beta because of the moon goddess’s blessing.

He is standing with his back turned against me, his eyes trained on the other person. I focus on him instead. He looks stunned, his eyes widened, and his lips parted. “That is impossible,” he mutters, shaking his head. “That veil hasn’t been breached in years. Who could have…” “Only one breed,” he drawls. “Hunters.” “Shit!” I didn’t think they were going to figure it out so fast. My breath hitches in my throat when he angles his head a fraction, when everything suddenly stops, as if he can sense me.

I watched for a moment before walking toward my door. As I was shutting it, I heard Elena whisper, “Go get your man, Auntie.” I shook my head. That girl was a disaster walking, and I absolutely adored the organized chaos that was Elena. I quietly crept down the stairs before slipping out the back door and into the forest. I stopped beneath his tree, looking up, scanning the tree for him but not finding him. “I know you’re here, ‘Sprey. I can feel you.” He sighed as he swung himself down out of the tree. “Hey, Scarlett. I was just leaving. I was hunting a squirrel. They’re fast and good to hunt to keep myself fresh and-”

I hollered as I shifted to hunt down the bastards. Carson quickly caught the first two and eliminated them. The stupid assholes had thought coming back together half a mile from the clearing was going to help them. We crept through the forest silently, searching for the last rogue. We scouted the forest for hours and had just picked up its scent when a frantic call echoed through the forest. We froze misstep, trying to pick it up again if it was uttered again. Moments later a low-pitched bird call followed by a rapid, stressful one. Fuck. We looked around anxiously. ‘Falcon, hunters are here. What do we do?’

Covering up the hole with some moss, she dusted off her dress and hurried home, her thoughts of the Hunters exposing her long gone. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "They're here! The Hunters have arrived!" The cries of the young boys ran through the whole village, many men and women coming out to see the sight. Liam riding in front, followed by nine other men, all on horseback. On the back of Liam's horse was the dead carcass of a mountain lion, and his quiver held an unusual number of arrows. Instead of the standard twelve like the rest of the men in his party, it held 15, two from the archer who had shot the beast earlier, as well as the arrow aimed to warn him.

This was where they usually go first if they wanted information, or news pertaining to the whereabouts of the whole West region. Hail O was a prestigious yet infamous place for bounty hunters. It had separate branches from each region running illegally in the darkest alleys of the most notorious towns. The owner was actually pretty acquainted with Kaizer, he was one of the elite soldiers of his father - the drunkard spear master, O Haden. "Where's your master?" Kaizer didn't waste any time for a greeting. He leaned aggressively at the bar counter and asked for O Haden.

Not long ago, she was the one who always said those words. “What do you people want with me?” Nadine asked. “We know what you are.” The other one said. “Who are you?” Nadine asked. “I'm Juan.” The one with the gun said. “And I'm Lorenzo.” The other replied, “We're members of the Lycan Annihilators.” Nadine began to sweat, “From that name, I can infer that you two kill lycanthropes.” Nadine said shakily, already wondering how painful it would be when they pumped her body full of silver.

“Are they really going to just let me fall back?” That's actually... cause me a sigh of relief. I'm tired by the eyes that following my every steps! Then there's Grandma I notice anxious and been in contact with the messengers lady. And everyone of them is given grandma a jade, however it only cause Grandma to deeply anxious. Then her expression greatly change, she said in certainty, “It must be those horrible species! The Lycan kidnapped the future of the huntress!” “Future... of the huntress?” I curiously eyed everyone that suddenly voice out their wanting to wipe out the species they despise.

But how many innocent lives would be lost if we went to war with the hunters? Shaking my head, I reach up and rub the puckered scar where the wound had been. The bullet must have been dipped in wolfsbane as it was taking too long to heal. Even with silver, once it was out of the body, healing took very little time but it had already been a week and the scar bothered me as much as the strange girl standing in the clearing.
