Bad Girl Reborn

Bad Girl Reborn

"Don't stare, turn off the lights and go to sleep!" Diana found it challenging to resist his intense gaze, reaching to turn off the bedside lamp. Unexpectedly, she pressed another small switch on the bedside. Suddenly, the ceiling above them slowly shifted, revealing a pitch-black night sky. As the surrounding lights dimmed, a warm light descended from the ceiling, casting a soft glow on the two figures. Diana's mouth hung half-open, her mind blank. This atmosphere suddenly gave her the illusion of engaging in some wild rendezvous with John.

Love Of The Mafia King

" I nodded and obeyed him. I laid on the bed while he was putting the blanket over me again. "Let me bring you some medicine," he mumbled, and went to the closet room, leaving me alone. I looked up at the ceiling. Why do we have a ceiling? I thought. Why can't we have no ceiling and gaze at the stars? Instantly, I got up and ran towards the balcony. I sat on my favorite swing, staring up at the stars. "Now, it's perfect," I murmured. "What the hell? Why did you get up?" Vexon asked all of a sudden.

Alpha's Married Human Mate

With those words, he rushes from the room quicker than I can respond. Letting out a resigned sigh, I lay my back against the bed and stare up at the painted ceiling that has a lot of stars and a huge full moon on it. Back when I was recovering in this room the last time I would stare up at the ceiling and long to feel more connected to the moon like the wolves do.

However, I furrowed my brow when I found myself standing in a large, dark room painted entirely in black. Before I could ask any questions, a single dot of light fell from the ceiling, gently touching my shoulder without causing any harm. Then another dot of light followed, and suddenly, sparks rained from above. It appeared magical, almost surreal, as they gently landed in my hand. A smile graced my face as I outstretched my hand, catching them, but their fleeting existence soon ended. I gazed at him, his eyes shimmering like silver in the darkness, reflecting the sparks around us.

Oops! Still Your Mate

Oops! Still Your Mate

Zeke pushed the door to his chambers open and he stepped in. The room was dark, the curtains drawn together, the windows shut close. He leaned against the door, quick succession of breathes escaping his nostrils. His chest moved as he allowed himself breath. The darkness swallowed him whole but he didn't care. He just stood there . When he pushed himself off the door, he used his hands to feel his way to his table. He turned on the sunset lamp on his desk, illuminating his room with a soft yellow light.

Bound To The Cursed Lycan

Bound To The Cursed Lycan

XAHEN. I was on my back in the dark when the whiskey bottle ran out. I held it over my mouth for a moment anyway, waiting, and got nothing. Then I let it drop to the floor, hearing as it rolled somewhere. Where there were others empty and idle on the floor. I had stopped counting them a while ago, which meant I was getting close to where I needed to be… that particular altitude where the ceiling stopped being the ceiling and started being a dark shape above me that didn't mean anything.

Sweet Subterfuge

Sweet Subterfuge

At the same time, the other lights in the room were extinguished, the nebulae patterns on the ceiling on top of them gradually fading until they finally disappeared and revealed the vast, never-ending night sky along with countless stars sparkling in its depths. Larissa couldn't help but gape at the display. Never before had she seen such a magnificent and magical view before, and so her first reaction was, "Is this some kind of projection?" "No." Kevan pressed another star-shaped button, and the ceiling—or, rather, the two transparent glass panels separated and moved to both sides until they completely disappeared from sight. The view remained the same, apart from the lack of a roof that se

a cold metal straw rests on my lip and a take a few welcome sips of the ice-cold water. “What happened?” I slowly open my eyes and squint against the blinding light in the ceiling. He must notice my discomfort because he jumps up and hits the switch on the wall, now the only light in the room comes from the moon and it filters in through the long black net panels at the windows.

Betrothed To The Alpha

The urge to see Alex overpowers any hesitation, and I push the door open further, stepping in. The room is shrouded in darkness, the blinds drawn tightly shut, creating an illusion of nighttime despite the daylight outside. The silence hangs heavily, and I make an effort not to linger on the thought that I could be the last person he wants to see at this moment. Ignoring those thoughts, I cautiously enter the pitch-black room, allowing my eyes to adjust to the dim light.

I think yhe story is good but a bit cruel for me and feel sorry for Hannah as it seems its only her againts the world. She has no strong backing. So I stopped reading. Hope the storyline chnagrs soon in favor of Hannah before I’ll continue reading.
