As the burning station crossed the zenith (the point directly above them), she opened her mind.
The world went white.
The scream of the wind vanished. The roar of the wave was gone. There was only the Universal Frequency. Elara sent out a single, repeating image to every phone, every radio, every screen on the planet: The Wave is coming. Run.
