It's Just Magic

It's Just Magic

Sil said with her mouth full of cookie bits. “Yes.” “So, this place is magical?” I asked trying to piece things together. “Don’t be silly. It’s just glamour. A trick to human eyes.” “Please, by all means, call us humans even if you’re not one of us.” I told her sarcastically. “People then. If you prefer it that way.” She said catching on my sarcasm. Sill tried to hide her smile but I saw it. “Daylight, I don’t know you but seeing that my brother has I’m guessing he met you in one of his hysterical dreams.” She stood. Daylight looked at her.

When Magic Happens

When Magic Happens

Mia asked again, confused. I didn’t know how to tell her that next part; I thought she wouldn't believe me and might even call me crazy. So, I took a breath in, glanced her side and just blurted out: “he said that gypsy usually use dark magic on things for compelling and sorcery” “HA, WHAT?” she shouted back in shock. She looked at me with a horrified and pale face. She thought for a while and asked again with a hint of a mocking smile on her face: “what does it do?”

A Kissing Spell

A Kissing Spell

I could improve my magic only after practicing what she told me a few times. On the weekdays, I decided to go home straight from work and spend every afternoon and evening practicing magic. Every time I planned to practice, I had to create a shield that would block any outsiders from glimpsing at what I was doing and hearing my words. Grandma decided to help me in my conspiracy, and even used code words to communicate with me… As much as I loved her for trying, it only made it much harder to understand her since she never consulted the meaning of the words before using them…

I wish this book would never come to an end, i will miss Samil and kass greatly. I wouldn't mind if you can give us few bonus chapters to take a sneak peak into their lives and marriage. But all in all, the book is an emotional roller coaster that really kept me on my toes. i hope to see more.

This Is MY Story

This Is MY Story

I mean, who wants to read a story about an introvert finally achieving her dream to escape reality and have something magical to her life? Wow, that sounds adventurous. How awesome is that to finally escape reality? I’d probably read it. Of course, I’ll read it! I want to live in my imaginations and I can relate to the main character! If that’s the case, then I’ll make my story count! I just hope that the drastic change won’t come sooner. I have to build that rising action. Train like the karate kid or some shit just to look badass. Ok. That’s decided then. I closed my eyes and smiled in content. Happy with the newfound motivation.

His Pack Falls Without Her Magic

His Pack Falls Without Her Magic

Damian said, but his tone was dismissive, like he was talking about something trivial. "Oh," Isla glanced at me, her eyes full of contempt. "Earth-weaving? How… quaint." She paused, making sure everyone was listening. "But I've never seen it mentioned in any orthodox blood magic codex." The room went silent. "Perhaps it's some self-taught, backwoods parlor trick," she added, her voice dripping with meaning. "True power comes from a bloodline." Self-taught. She was calling me a rogue with no roots.

The Alpha King's Kidnapped Mate

The Alpha King's Kidnapped Mate

And it was easy selling in the open because the queue was so little or there wasn't any. Up ahead was a storyteller who looked funny with a huge hat above his head. "Everyone, the story I'm about to tell you is one that has never been told before. It is both magical and unique!" The storyteller grinned and removed his hat revealing his bald head. He must have thought he would be applauded but unfortunately, the crowd that had gathered dispersed. Only Esther stood still. Not that she was interested in what he had to say, she just had nothing more fun to do.

Mortal

Mortal

"She didn't think anyone was in here." I lick my lips, feeling oddly drawn to the book. "What is it?" "Something really rare," Alice says. "There are only a few like it in the world. It's called, 'The Secret History of Magic.' It tells the real story of magic. It helps you to understand that there are many ways to look at everything." "Okay," I say. It's starting to feel like I'm stuck in Alice's fantasy. Next thing I know she'll be telling me she knows how to fly.

she demanded, lifting her head slightly to look at us. I turned my head toward her, arching a brow. "What good stuff?" I asked, because clearly, I had missed the memo. "You know," Maggie said, waving a hand vaguely. "The real magic. The cool spells. The things that make witches, you know, powerful." Ashton let out a breathless chuckle. "You mean the stuff you saw in those movies?"

Fated to the Alphas - Chased by Chaos

Fated to the Alphas - Chased by Chaos

I don’t fucking need you and would be better off without you. It was the work of an internal binding that we had yet to find a reversal for. Its magic always took hold whenever someone would get to close to what it was binding. That included mentioning it or even alluding to it. The magic was a diversion-based one and seriously powerful. It had to be if it was going to be an effective cage. It would take hold of him, making him lash out in an attempt to keep others away. Said magic then pushed out towards the target, ‘encouraging’ them to back off.

Such a great start to their journey. I've eagerly been awaiting this book ever since it was mentioned and especially when Ziyah had the vision of them. It's filled with humor, drama, love, and everything that a good story needs. Can't wait for more!!
