He asked, I look at him and there I saw a dog wagging his tail. "No," I responded that made him gloomy. "I promise I won't meddle with you." He said. I just ignored him and continued what I am doing. I've been reading this book titled 'Lily of the Valley meets Wolf Boy'. It's a famous book written by the most famous author nowadays, which is Phoenix. The story is about a sick but energetic girl that met a weird boy who was raised by wolves. They met in a city where the boy got lost. That boy is kind of anxious about how people treat him because of his different from usual behavior. The girl helped her and they became friends.

RECKLESS HEARTS HEIRS OF THE TRIQUETRA - BOOK 1 ~ MILENA ~ The dog won’t stop barking. Slamming itself against the metal chain link fence outside in the alleyway, as if desperate to escape from what is to come. I could shut the window to block it out, but the heat is unbearable. It feels like the walls are closing in on this already suffocating place. The dog’s owner is yelling at it again. Telling it to shut up, as if that is going to help. It won’t. It never does. He should know that by now.

I got up to go down to the corner store to grab some food for it and it followed me behind from a distance. We return with some food which I'm not sure is the most pet hungry but the dog laps up and I chuckle at how he was eating it with so much vigor and I open the bag of chips I got from the store too. "So how did you become homeless and a stray?" The dog didn't bother answering it just shifted to a more comfortable position. "Well then, let me tell you how I became a stray and homeless. I fell in love with a boy with the most beautiful brown eyes." The dog barked and I chuckled.

It took another week before Purity was up and moving on her own. Libidi and Pru weren’t around the house much as they worked at STRAYTIS for Lasci, who was ready to get things back to normal. He hadn’t heard or felt the stranger that had visited last week but was on guard, keeping a close eye on Purity.

I didn't want to get too involved with them, so I kept to myself and did my own thing. However, Amelia kept finding excuses to appear in front of me. She'd bring me a coconut, offer to put sunscreen on me, or volunteer to snap my picture. No matter how hard I tried to get rid of her, she wouldn't go away. … On the day we were supposed to head home, my luggage suddenly disappeared. Amelia and Caleb both acted frantic, tirelessly helping me look for it. For some reason, I felt a little warmth in my chest. Then, I heard their voices around the corner.

I dump my bag on the floor and read through the shelf while pulling books out and mumble as I go. ‘Even a book can be dangerous in the wrong hands.’ ‘Ignite.’ ‘Hell is empty and all the devils are here.’ ‘You’ll make bad choices. Sometimes you’ll choose the best of bad ones.’ ‘Tuesday is Fucked.’ ‘Everything’s a game. And now it’s your turn.’ I have a stack of about 10 books before I abruptly stop. "Next isle." I say and we walk up and down the library isles. I climb and jump to get books off of shelves and Aidan has to catch me a couple of times when I fell.

It was revolting at first glance. Among the caged dogs, many were dogs with a pedigree like Nani. They probably got lost just like her. There were also some stray dogs. Dogs understood human emotions. At that moment, they all looked pitifully outside, aware of their fate. Even the ones pushed to the edge of the cage were trembling. The dog thieves had already been subdued. They were baffled. They had been caught by the police before but had never encountered such a large group of non-police.

"It’s the only place I can remember feeling truly safe, when I was little." "It’s a good place to be," he agreed. "Much better than bars and late nights—you never know who you’ll run into in places like that." Yna went quiet, her mind drifting back to that terrible night—the night she’d met the stranger, the night everything changed. "Can I ask you something?" Alas said gently. "I hope you won’t be upset." "Of course. Anything." He guided her to a bench so she could rest her feet. He’d wanted to ask more about the pregnancy, but seeing how fragile she still was, he held back.

I guess they could see how out of place I felt in their small neighborhood or maybe some just thought that it was rude of me to keep walking like nothing is wrong. But then again, nothing was wrong, it wasn't supposed to be but they didn't know me- I was the unwelcome one in the pack , a stray dog on a leash and no matter where I went it was only going to get worse. I didn't belong anywhere and I knew there would be no escape so why am I even bothering?

"Hurry up and do your homework, children." With a huff, Charlie turned and hurried back to the big shed Jack had come from and where they housed the dogs. As soon as she opened the door and crossed the threshold, a multitude of dogs began to jump on top of her and lick her face, causing her to let out a loud laugh. It didn't matter how bad her day had been or how rude Anthony and Samantha had been to her; all it took was a flick of the tail from those fur balls and everything looked better. If Vivian allowed it, Charlie would spend day and night in that shed, examining, cleaning and caring for the dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and countless other stray animals that Vivian had taken in since the
