Hello to my readers! This chapter is the last chapter for LOGAN and just to warn you it's a bit longer and I don't want to split it in half because this is an epilogue. It had been a week since the incident with Heather, and I was ready to return to school, acting as if nothing had happened. The next day I treated it like any other ordinary day.

I wondered just how many other unsuspecting women he had charmed into failure with that grin. “Plus, we found this dog here. Isn't he awesome?” Tyler looked up at me, his hand still on the dog's head. It was a brown mutt with white paws and a white splotch on his chest. He wasn't an ugly dog, but he certainly wasn't going to win any dog shows. Judging by the thinness in the dog's ribs and the state of his fur, he was one of the local strays. I had heard they liked to hang out near the tourist areas of the island because they usually could find food.

Emily stared at the mess for a while, then suddenly cried out in despair, rushing to pull the dog away from the blanket: "What have you done?! How could you turn my living room into this mess?!" The stray dog was terrified and stepped back a few steps, trembling all over and looking at Emily, apparently scared that she would hit it. Emily was indeed angry for a moment because no one would feel comfortable seeing their living room in such a mess. But when she thought about how the dog might have suffered, she took a deep breath and tried to calm down. She patted the dog and said: "Okay, I won't hit you... You don't have to be scared." They seem too big though for stray dogs and to move that fast… Ella shook her head. Of course, they were strays. Two big stray dogs running around the city at night. Unless those dogs are rabid or extremely territorial, she need not worry, Ella thought. If there was anything that she should be wary of, especially in the city, it was humans not stray animals. She reached the spot where she thought she saw the stray dogs run past and looked at the direction where they disappeared. There was an alley, but without a streetlamp nearby, it was impossible to tell if the dogs were still there. Ella walked on, her steps gaining speed.

I got up to go down to the corner store to grab some food for it and it followed me behind from a distance. We return with some food which I'm not sure is the most pet hungry but the dog laps up and I chuckle at how he was eating it with so much vigor and I open the bag of chips I got from the store too. "So how did you become homeless and a stray?" The dog didn't bother answering it just shifted to a more comfortable position. "Well then, let me tell you how I became a stray and homeless. I fell in love with a boy with the most beautiful brown eyes." The dog barked and I chuckled.

It took another week before Purity was up and moving on her own. Libidi and Pru weren’t around the house much as they worked at STRAYTIS for Lasci, who was ready to get things back to normal. He hadn’t heard or felt the stranger that had visited last week but was on guard, keeping a close eye on Purity.

I dump my bag on the floor and read through the shelf while pulling books out and mumble as I go. ‘Even a book can be dangerous in the wrong hands.’ ‘Ignite.’ ‘Hell is empty and all the devils are here.’ ‘You’ll make bad choices. Sometimes you’ll choose the best of bad ones.’ ‘Tuesday is Fucked.’ ‘Everything’s a game. And now it’s your turn.’ I have a stack of about 10 books before I abruptly stop. "Next isle." I say and we walk up and down the library isles. I climb and jump to get books off of shelves and Aidan has to catch me a couple of times when I fell.

It wasn’t like anything we’d heard before. I turned the handle slowly, pushing the door open just a crack. My heart pounded in my chest. As I peered out, I saw something small and moving. I stepped back quickly, my finger tensing on the trigger, but then I froze. A stray dog. It was a small, scruffy-looking dog with matted fur, sitting by the door and wagging its tail. Its big eyes stared up at us, a mix of confusion and curiosity. “Nooo… throw that thing away,” Bishop muttered, clearly annoyed.

I guess they could see how out of place I felt in their small neighborhood or maybe some just thought that it was rude of me to keep walking like nothing is wrong. But then again, nothing was wrong, it wasn't supposed to be but they didn't know me- I was the unwelcome one in the pack , a stray dog on a leash and no matter where I went it was only going to get worse. I didn't belong anywhere and I knew there would be no escape so why am I even bothering?

"Hurry up and do your homework, children." With a huff, Charlie turned and hurried back to the big shed Jack had come from and where they housed the dogs. As soon as she opened the door and crossed the threshold, a multitude of dogs began to jump on top of her and lick her face, causing her to let out a loud laugh. It didn't matter how bad her day had been or how rude Anthony and Samantha had been to her; all it took was a flick of the tail from those fur balls and everything looked better.
