A dance with the villian
Blood dripped from his mouth as he spat, “I won’t let you win, ”
I grinned. “You don’t have a choice.”
I hurled him across the battlefield, his body crashing into the ground with a thunderous impact. Dust and debris filled the air, but I could still see him struggling to rise, his body bruised and battered. He was weakening, and I could feel the victory slipping into my grasp.
“You’re finished, Hyperion,” I said, walking toward him slowly,
He struggled to his feet, blood dripping down his chin. “Not… yet.”
