There were Vampires, shapeshifters, witches, banshees, sirens, kitsunes, and nogitsunes, who were dark kitsunes. It was a lot to absorb but they spent their time learning about the other creatures. The battle that was going on was between the shapeshifters and the other creatures. Even though they could shift into any anima, human, or supernatural creature, if they become a supernatural creature, they do not get the power of that creature.
