I asked, as we both walked into the kitchen. Susie's smile faltered slightly as she shared her thoughts. “I honestly can't remember the last time I was truly this happy," she admitted. "But if past experiences have taught me anything, it’s that happiness never lasts, so I'm casually waiting for the other shoe to drop." Hearing her words shocked me. Placing a comforting hand on her shoulder, I smiled, "I get it, but we have to savor these moments, sis. Let's hope this time, no shoe will drop," I told her reassuringly.

I tried to strike a conversation to distract all of us. “Susie, I heard that you flew to Los Angeles for an exhibition. You must have become a billionaire now!’ She shook her head, a bit confused by my sudden question but then replied, “Not yet, but I had so much fun there with Philip. We went to visit all the popular places. It was like an extended vacation. I will show you pictures when you come over.” Her lips stretched in a smile as she recalled those moments. Then, suddenly she started sobbing again. I smacked myself for my thoughtlessness. I never thought that this conversation would lead to Philip.

I felt it was wrong but I gave in, too damn easily. “Oh come on between being a fairy and your age he won’t expect you to have waited,” she says, waving her wrist, trying to cheer me up. My tears start falling and I bury my face in my hands. Then I begin hyperventilating. “Ohh. Like, this week then you did the dirty,” Susie says. I nod, keeping my face in my hands. “Hmm, well. "I am curing my pain." she sang and giggled. "What do you mean?"I asked her. Why is she talking like...like..she is drunk? She can't be drunk. She never drinks.

Suzie doesn't want to give Javier the impression that she was a messy woman. Suzie looked down at her legs again and gained the courage to break the silence. "....How are you feeling?" Javier: "...." Suzie clear her throat to mask the laugh that was about to come out. It would be weird if she suddenly laughed in this situation. But she really felt this was funny.

Margaux was chuckling as she entered Sue's room. The guy was a little surprised but it didn't last long. “I thought you would not come back,” he commented. However, she didn't respond to him and just snickered, which made her cousin's brows knitted together curiously. “What's funny?” he queried. Margaux slowly walked towards the couch and gracefully sat there. She leaned back and crossed her legs before she gave Sue her attention. “Liana's face is so funny,” she chuckled. I'm practically laying in the tub with her, holding her against me as she cries into my shoulder. Susan bends her knees and her body shifts, pulling me down into the tub. We all burst into laughter at that. “Why don’t you learn something from him, Phillip?” Susie said slapping Phillip’s arm. “Ow!! What was that for? I helped Alex to make preparations, you can ask him.” He complained but that only earned him a glare from Susie. I giggled seeing their dramatic exchange. “ Don’t fan yourself too much, Eva. Wait till your relationship grows older, Alex will stop surprising you too.” Susie said stiffly.

She just cried alone in her room for half a day. It was not until the sky turned dark that Sukie’s swollen face had subsided a little. She then took a shower, put on a clean dress, and hailed a taxi to a nightclub. In the private room filled with smoke and colorful bright lights, she saw Shane Locke’s “boss”, Chase Lucas.
