I’m impressed with how she’s managing the situation; it gives me a little hope that maybe I’ll get through this. I lose sense of all time and everything around me as something changes in the way Julie is touching me; her fingers no longer feel like hot pokers and my body no longer feels like a torn-apart patchwork doll. Instead I’m tingling and my bones are aching like I’ve just fallen down the stairs. The pain should be nothing compared to what Seraphina did to me but it seems to be overriding everything, like it's something I’m pulling out of myself just to stop the pain of what Seraphina has done.
