Hindi ko na pinatapos ang pagsasalita niya at nagsalita kaagad ako. "Apology Accepted." Sabi ko. "Really?" Hindi makapaniwalang aniya. Tumango ako. "What else?" Tanong ko ulit. God! Ang sakit na nang paa ko! Andami pa niyang daldal! "Chance." Diretsong sabi niya. Napataas ang kilay ko. Chance? For what? "Chance? For what?" Ako. "Chance Aia. Please. I will do everything Aia." Sabi niya.

Keila felt like she was standing on the edge of a cliff, ready to leap, but still unsure of what would happen if she did. She took a deep breath and nodded. “Okay,” she said, her voice steady now, as if she had made a decision. “We’ll take it slow.” Clyde’s smile widened, and the tension between them seemed to melt away. “I promise, no rush.” But as the night wore on, Keila couldn’t shake the feeling that they had just taken the first step into uncharted territory. The future was uncertain, and there were risks involved. But for the first time in a long time, Keila felt like maybe, just maybe, it was a risk worth taking.
