I was already dreading the horrendous things they would make me do but what choice did I have? So, I'm officially by myself. She looked around the age of 23, and when she turned to us, I noticed her eyes. They were different colors. Her right was blue while her left was brown. “Alpha, welcome,” She bowed slightly and turned her attention to me. A smile settled on her lips instantly. “You must be the new one,” She walked forward and placed her hand out. “I’m Talia, nice to meet you.” I hesitantly took her hand, shaking it. “Cana,” “I know.” She turned her attention back to Zane and asked. “She’s the one I’d be training?”

She had on black biker boots, and a thin black tank type camisole top. "Viper this is Talia Altizer. She's the attorney I told you about." Paris introduced. "Talia this is Viper the president of the club." "I'm sorry we have to meet under these circumstances. But I'm not sorry it gave me a chance to catch back up with Paris." Talia explained. "If we hadn't already looked up your mad attorney skills, I'd say Paris was joking about you being a top-notch lawyer." Viper replied. "I work very hard. And I play very hard." Talia grinned. To her horror, Ester was sticking to her with, "I will come with you!" Ester followed Lisa all the way to Lisa's apartment, and Lisa couldn't hold it in anymore and she started talking trash about Kalina, Talia, Maya, and Meg, and Ester soaked in all that eagerly behind a mask of a compassionate friend. Ester didn't care much about Meg or Kalina. They were from different packs. Maya was a well-known Beta, so Lisa didn't say anything that Ester didn't know already. Suddenly, a high, loud voice echoed, and I hazily opened my eyes to see a girl clad in golden armor emerging at the forest's edge. Behind her trailed a vast group of wolf warriors, each bearing a purple wolf head tattoo on their chests. "You have no idea what you're doing. Talon is the one the king has ordered us to capture!" Alpha Shaco's voice resounded from the crowd. "I am Kaisa, Talon's fiancée. I'll see who dares to lay a hand on him!" As soon as Kaisa uttered these words, she swiftly raised the blade in her hand and beheaded an unsuspecting werewolf nearby.

She sneered, venting her anger on the clothes that she threw into the box. Her door opened and a blond girl walked in to see this scene. "Can't you knock?" Tania spoke harshly the moment she saw the girl. It was none other than her step-sister Kaila, who just clocked eighteen this month and had become the pack Luna almost immediately, as they found she was the Alpha's true mate. “I'm sorry, Tania, I was too anxious.” She spoke softly in response, a sharp contrast to the harsh words of Tania and she didn't look mad at her reaction at all.

"I think I'll stick with Adam," she replies haughtily, daring me to tell her otherwise. I lean in closer to her, trailing her body with my eyes again. I can't stop looking at her legs. She notices, and again raises an eyebrow.

Everything was and would remain fine. As I prepared for my meet up with Quinn, someone knocked on the door. It definitely had to be Talia. Kai wouldn’t knock on the door for any reason. Also, he wasn’t home. He’d left in the early hours of the day, saying he had a lot of work to take care of. I wasn’t even sure he’d come home early. “Come in.” I said, bringing down the eyeliner.
