Alpha took a step forward holding out his hands and I did the only thing I could think of in this situation, I lowered myself towards the ground and growled lowly, a warning that I didn’t want to be approached. “Careful, she may be feral.” Blue eyes warned his friend. Was that a good thing? Would being feral help me? I growled and bared my teeth once more when he took another step towards me, scared out of my mind that he would strangle me with his bare hands. “She’s not.” Alpha said, clearly knowing more than he was letting on. “She’s frightened. Look at her body, she’s shaking. Feral wolves don’t get scared.”

They believe that there are no dangers to prepare for while living with humans and they are very much okay with skipping training. His friend here, Callan had only agreed to be trained because he had expected Roe to be around. Hyde was aware that his three friends lusted after his twin sister and while it should bother him,he saw it as a means of getting them to do whatever he wants. That is, without using his Alpha influence on them.

I promise my mate, the alpha can throw whoever he wants in and I'd win. His fingers brushed against hers, cold as the steel of winter. “Pack your things,” he said softly, almost forebodingly. “You’re coming back with me.” Ella lifted her chin defiantly. “If you believe I’ll make this easy, Alpha… you clearly don't know me.” For the first time, a flicker of light shone in Rylan’s eyes. “Good,” he responded quietly. “I detest easy.” Outside, a flash of lightning lit up the sky. The joining of a human girl and a cursed Alpha had commenced.

It pissed me off, and a part of me wished there was a fast-forward button to skip through these early stages. However, even when she wasn’t around I’d sometimes visit to bask in the undercurrent of her scent, which touched everything. I’d even started smelling the roses at the pack greenhouse, taking in lungful after lungful much to the wary amusement of the Omegas who ensured they remained in full bloom all year round. But the roses there were not the same, and nothing came close to my mate, who devastated me, the Big Bad Wolf, to end all others, without the slightest bit of awareness or effort.
