Lucian reached his hand out as he stepped closer. I swallowed thickly, took his hand, and gently squeezed it. “Thank you.” Lucian stepped back and nodded at Grayson. Grayson turned back to the microphone. “Midnight Moon pack, I give you our newest shifter, our hellhound, Shade.” I looked at Azalea, and she flashed me a beautiful smile. I winked, and her smile widened. I took a deep breath, looked forward, and as I stepped forward, shade came to the surface and shifted.

Despite all the vesture worn by me, I still managed to run with it even as heavy as it was. At some point, my dress got stuck by some thorny shrubs, hindering me from proceeding. I dragged my dress away from the thorns, some parts torn and some parts still gripped by the thorns. My only option was to tear the dress off myself and for once I was grateful to the Moon Goddess again that night that I was a shifter.
