By the time she came out of the water, Carter is laughing. "Asshole" she splashed water at him for scaring her. He let her splash water. She looked at the small water body hid under the cave with amazement. There are small holes on the roof of the cave through which sun rays is filtering inside the cave, basking the water with dim light. The entire setting is quiet beautiful.

David locked the elevator and tapped Elizabeth’s shoulder. “Oh, sorry. I was just impressed by your… home...”. David looks around. He nods. To be honest, David was proud of his current achievements. He then beckoned for Elizabeth to follow him. Elizabeth nodded and walked towards him. David pointed at the cave. The hole of the cave was covered with planks of wood. It looked like the end of a barrel. At the center of this huge barrel-end was a rectangular door. The door was simple. It was a wooden wall with a wooden handle.

Fair. The cave suddenly felt colder. Reasonable honestly. Much colder. God. Then Ava whispered: "What is that?" Fair. Nobody answered. Reasonable. Because nobody knew. God. Before I knew it, an image of the dark cave I knew all too well floated mid-air between some tree branches, a dark shadow flashing by within the image waiting to welcome me home. "Its alright, man. I didn't know either," Hunter attempted to lighten the mood, but this only seemed to annoy Raver if not cheer him up. "Okay, I'll just stay quiet then," He raised his hands in the air in surrender before backing up a bit.

They go on walking past hills and mountains, past the rivers and now they come to a cave. “That place looks spookier, let’s take a look” Edward wants to have a look at the cave but Geri resists, Edward identify some human bones at the entrance of the cave, he identifies some army uniforms torn into pieces and knows something really bad had happened at this place, Geri knows it all but he does not speak, the cave was once his home, he is the one who killed the soldiers some time ago, he really does not want to recall everything that he was going on at that time.

The cave was dark and moist, crawling with insects, mice, and even snakes. The trio entered with Strider leading the way. Adrian and Mya could not feel the energy inside the cave due to their protective gear. After about ten minutes of walking, they found large clusters of black rocks. The rocks covered the walls of the cave and were in piles on the floor. A skeleton sat behind one of these piles. The skeleton was in a meditative position, indicating that whoever it used to be had died a peaceful death.

"Now." Vex lowered a rope, and Cass lifted Kael carefully while I climbed up first to help pull from above. It took several minutes, and Kael groaned in pain every time he was moved, but finally we had him out of the hole and back on the main path.
