place. I looked around and something to the right of the mountain caught my eye. I walked up to get a closer look. There I saw a stone that had a the word APERTA inscribed on it. “APERTA?” I said out loud while tracing the letters with my fingers. I felt a spark from my fingertips once I read the word out loud. I withdrew my hand quickly and held it up to my face while I blew on it. The mountain began to open right in the middle and exposed an entrance to a cave. “Ummm.. maybe we can go in through here” I said to the guys while pointing to the entrance. Both turned and looked equally shocked seeing the opening in the middle of the mountain. “How ? Where the hell that come from?” Trevor aske

He offered me his elbow. “Shall we?” I grit my teeth and took his arm, following him into the cave. It was deep and winding, and the walls were smooth and cold. Thankfully, we didn’t go too deep. I could still make out the light coming from the entrance, although it was fading quickly as the sun went down. If I could just get a head start… “Here.” The Rogue King lifted his torch to illuminate the wall we’d stopped in front of. “This, Avery, is the story of your people—and how you were lost.”

But Aric and Kaida were determined to reach their destination, and they pressed on. Finally, after several hours of climbing, they reached the cave that Jacob had told them about. It was hidden deep in the mountains, and it looked dark and foreboding. Aric and Kaida took a deep breath and entered the cave, their hearts pounding with excitement and anticipation. They had discovered an ancient cavern hidden deep within the rocks, a place whispered about only in legends. Intrigued and concerned, Amelia and Markas decided to investigate, accompanied by Fenrir and a few trusted companions. As they entered the cavern, an eerie silence cloaked the atmosphere. Before I knew it, an image of the dark cave I knew all too well floated mid-air between some tree branches, a dark shadow flashing by within the image waiting to welcome me home. "This is it," I said, waving my hands to the rift which stood proudly before us. "I didn't know this was here," Raver said before a tired sigh fell from his lips, "Another well-kept family secret." "Its alright, man. I didn't know either," Hunter attempted to lighten the mood, but this only seemed to annoy Raver if not cheer him up. "Okay, I'll just stay quiet then," He raised his hands in the air in surrender before backing up a bit.

I told him and he agreed. We continued walking for more than an hour and we finally came out of the cave. They were all excited to see us but Ashley wasn't excited to see me, she couldn't hide her anger. I knew she was going to be a pain in the ass once I told them my plans. "I'm glad you aren't injured." Tacha said to me as I washed my legs. "Yeah, I'm glad too. It was a hell of a journey, I'm tired already." "You've got the Gem?" She asked.

"Do you want to see what happens when the Butcher remembers who he really works for?" She pressed the button. The cave entrance detonated. The mountain didn't just shake. It screamed. The roof began to fall. "Dante!" I reached out, but the floor vanished beneath me. Why is there a nursery at the bottom of a volcano?

The cave beneath the mountain was dark and damp. The steady trickling of water sounded from hidden corners and the walls were slippery with moss. There were two lit torches hanging from the walls and Cade picked one while Caleb grabbed the other one. Right before them, there was a flight of stone steps that twisted up the cave and disappeared at the top. "Where is this place?",Layla asked softly, and her voice echoed around the cave. "It's a place where many have lost their lives", Caleb answered this time. "It used to be a torturing ground for creatures who break the laws of the island"

We sit close, sharing pieces of the roasted cassavas, laughing softly at silly jokes. Just as Joe pulls me to rest on his chest as we wait for the cassavas to be ready, the sound of footsteps breaks the peace. I freeze, my heart pounding. Joe stiffens beside me, his hand instinctively reaching for a rock near the fire. A low, guttural growl echoes from the entrance of the cave. My heart stops as Joe leaps to his feet, grabbing a burning stick from the fire. Mr. Jonathan stumbles into the cave, dragging a bloody and battered Jayden behind him.
