I just looked at him wary and nodded my had. "Well, I was born here as Kristin told you. I moved a lot when I was young but always stayed within a 20 miles ratio. You see that is my packs territory." I looked at him shocked and Alex chuckled "Yes Evie, I'm a wolf, that is how I know that, that mark on your neck" He pointed at my neck when he continued. "Is not a dog bite. It's a wolf bite or marking. So now I'm going to have to ask you again, who bit you? because that is probably your mate." I looked at him wary again. “Oh right, mates or soulmates are precisely as the word says. Soulmates. Every wolf has one, and only one. It is like your other half, which makes you be better and feel bette

Or had tried. A moan from Jade made him lean over to help her up but she pulled back, still covering the back of her neck, which had stopped bleeding and the pain was beginning to subside due to the toxins corresponding to the bite. -Why?- She yelled, there was a tear running down one of his cheeks. -Why did you bite me?- Jade knew what the wolf had done. It was one of the few data that he had read before about the species. -It was to protect you- Vladek lied quickly, looking for an excuse for his behavior.

Just as the first wolf got to where he was he angrily sank his powerful fangs into it's neck and the wolf whimpered in pains from the deadly bite it was receiving. It tried to stab into Jayden's fur with it's sharp claws to release it's neck from the deadly grip but Jayden was fast enough as he threw the wolf towards the tree and it died immediately. No Wolf could survive the fatal bite of an Alpha expect it has the Alpha blood running through its vein. Seeing that the last wolf took to its heels and ran for its life and Jayden chased after it angrily and not up to a minute he caught up with it and clawed it's chest opening up a big wound there and the Wolf let out a shrill growl.

He could now tell that the wolf was a woman, and she was badly wounded. What the hell was she doing, being here, fighting in another pack as a rogue? The slight distraction caused the female wolf to have an upper hand on his for just a moment, biting him on the shoulder. Fuck! He thought as he felt the bite. He could tell that something was in the bite, something poisonous. He knew the legend of the poison that can be put in the mouth to bite another. That would be taken care of later if he didn’t die first.

It really angers him anytime he stares at her and remembers that he hadnt touched her. It even made him angry the more whenever his thoughts goes to that annoying male friend of hers.He was damn sure that guy must have had Nina on his bed a thousand times! "No.I'm saying my wolf did." he replied to her after minutes "That is just the bond between your wolf and mine. There is no bond between us and there will never be." Nina gritted her teeth. She couldn't believe what has just happened. She just married the one who killed her parents and almost wiped out her race!

Her friend's scream was piercing but brief. Five wolves were down, seemingly unmoving while Victor got to another's shoulder. The biggest of the group limped to the side, not as fast as before but continuing to get in a bite when he could. Victor jumped over the next one and took a bite at their hips while hitting the other with a strong kick to the jaw. More blood fell and she realized he was toying with them. The back of her knees hit the seat, tipping her into the car as her head throbbed and her chest heaved with leaden gasps. Pins and needles prodded at her.

I swallowed, "you're my last resort coz you have information that I don't. I honestly don't know what to do. Please help clarify somethings to me." 'you have a minute before they realize you called.' "there has been Wolf attacks here.. I don't know if it's them... But I had a connection with one.. Strangely the same connection I have with a girl.. She's human... I don't know what this means. Can one person have two mates?" 'if there has been wolf attacks why are you still even there?' I swallowed, shit! I should have known he will ask this. "because they happened before I got here. So they had nothing to do with me."

- I don't know why I felt in my heart that my mother wanted to say more than she did. This wasn't the first time in my life, but since my father died this has gotten worse. - Mom? You didn't even seem too shocked by the location of the guy's house! - It's just that you finally have your breakfast Beck! We're leaving in thirty minutes to fix our hair for tonight. My mother didn't like to answer questions. I was used to it enough by then, so I didn't question anything anymore. I didn't question my father's obsession with wolf artifacts and legends, I didn't question why she wore a protective necklace against something that only existed in my books.

Behind someone tangibly bit the tail. Jumping up with a squeal, she barely crawled back and stared with resentment at the gray-black wolf Matvey. He waved his muzzle to the side, and I seemed to hear: "Let's run further." What's the insult? She jumped up and trotted more calmly behind the wolf. True, after half an hour the she-wolf began to be led aside.

I slowly turned my head until I saw the huge wolf coming toward me, licking its lips. “Ahhh!” I screamed, but the wolf pounced on me, knocking me onto my back. The impact was hard, and I felt some pain in the affected area. The wolf was on top of me, and I couldn’t do anything. It sniffed my neck, ran its tongue along my nape, reaching my chest. With its paw, it tore my shirt, revealing just my bra. I quickly searched for a stake or something to defend myself. I found a stake nearby, but before I could hit the wolf, it gave one last growl and ran off. My chest was heaving rapidly; I thought the people in the lake would hear my scream and come help me, but they didn’t. When I got up as best I
