DEEP AFFECTION
I strained to catch a glimpse of the person approaching me, my heart pounding with dread at what was to come.
(Before the Incident)
My evening had started innocently enough, just hanging out with my best friend Brenda as we often did. We ended up at a club, where I indulged in one too many drinks, losing myself in the music and the buzz of alcohol.
Brenda cheered me on as I danced, her encouragement fueling my uninhibited movements. But as the night wore on, the effects of the alcohol began to overwhelm me, and I stumbled towards the bathroom.
After easing myself, I went towards the mirror to rinse my hands. I looked at myself in the mirror, laughing and admiring myself.
