Drowning in the Ocean of Love

Drowning in the Ocean of Love

After I closed the door, I collapsed to the floor and broke down in tears. Having cried my heart out, I curled up on the cold tiles, trembling with sobs. The last notes of my broken cries faded into the silence. It was as if my entire heart had been ripped apart and left bleeding. At that moment, I couldn't see a future ahead of me. All I felt was the weight of suffocation. Gabriel didn't leave. His voice, choked with emotion, came through the door. "Please don't cry… It hurts me to see you like this."

How Deep Is Your Love

How Deep Is Your Love

A huge chandelier was in the room, filling the space with glistening light. Brad had a well-defined jawline and beautiful features, which looked unreal under the gorgeous light. I was dazed for a moment, and I felt a little sorrow that I could not describe. Brad's eyes were dreamy. The ends of his eyes were a bit red because he was tipsy. His collar was unbuttoned, and his neck and collarbone were covered in hickeys. "That young woman is Zoe Spencer," he said. I nodded and replied, "Mm-hmm. I know."

Dive in Deep

Dive in Deep

“Baby, I’m not going to move. Ever.” I laughed and pulled on my shorts and one of his big T-shirts before heading toward the kitchen. All the lights were still off, which told me Khloe hadn’t returned yet. I grabbed a couple of waters from the fridge and raced back to his room. He was still in the same spot. On a whim, I opened one of the bottles and dribbled some of the water over his chest. His mouth opened, and his eyes popped open. “Holy shit! That’s cold.”

Her Double Trouble: My Alpha and My Mate

Her Double Trouble: My Alpha and My Mate

This isn't how it ends. The serpent's tail flexed around me, undulating through the water with a slow, ominous rhythm. I could feel the current shifting as we dove deeper, the pull of the ocean growing stronger, the light from above barely a memory now. Darkness crept into my vision, my limbs growing heavy. Just when everything felt gone forever, I saw movement.

Shifted Fate

Shifted Fate

I sounded surprised. He laughed again and then swam faster; the darkness became absolute the farther we went down. Still, he swam deeper. Look. At his voice, light sprang to life and I gasped. His center was deep in a trench, the deepest part of the ocean. Creatures never seen before swam around us. The pulsing heart of coral, deep down at the bottom, was pure white, and beautiful. I reached out a hand and wrapped it around the closest branch. He shivered. Focus on your packs, godling, before your touch distracts me enough I might fight your mate for you.

I love Drama
I liked the story very much as it has its uniqueness in it.. Author is talented.. It was a rollercoaster of emotions within also with a lots of twists and turns.. But there are a lots of loosends that needed closures.. However, I guess that's gonna be covered in the next book.. Definitely good read!

I love the story. So many new & unique ways she has made this lycan/wolf/witch universe has me captivated tbh. I'm a long-time reader & tired of seeing the same thing. the characters are funny. The way she addresses loss, recovery, and acceptance was touching. can't wait for more from this author ...

THE REJECTED LUNA’S FOUR KINGS

THE REJECTED LUNA’S FOUR KINGS

Félix whispered, his voice barely audible over the rising roar. The horizon was gone. In its place was a vertical wall of water, five hundred feet high, a solid slab of liquid obsidian capped with a jagged crown of white foam. It was Oceanus's greeting—the crushing weight of the Fourth Brother’s arrival. "It’s not just a wave, Emma," Kaelen shouted from the battlements above. "The resonance... it’s a physical manifestation of the Deep! If that water touches the city, the kinetic shock alone will level the Spire!"

WILD DESIRES TAMELESS HEART

WILD DESIRES TAMELESS HEART

The ocean was a churning mass of grey-green water, the waves capped with a greasy, white foam that smelled of ozone and deep-earth minerals. "The entrance to the Atlantic Trench is twelve miles out," Hestia said, adjusting her heavy, pressurized diving suit. She had insisted on coming, her knowledge of the Council’s deep-sea protocols proving invaluable. "The Kraken’s core is housed in 'Station Zero'. It’s powered by the volcanic vents. If we take out the vents, the AI will starve." Rhea looked at the water. Her wolf was restless, the thought of being submerged in the dark, silent pressure of the deep sea triggering a primal claustrophobia.

Endless

Endless

Too many responsibilities. Tea looked up at the scorching sun, squinting to look at the clouds. She listened to the birdsong that charmingly danced against her eardrums. She wiped the sweat off her perspiring forehead then rubbed it on her dirty, muddy vest which covered only her chest. She walked towards the corner of the still dirty floor and left the broom there, already weary from her hard work. The half-finished roof sheltered her from the heat and brought with it a refreshing coolness that satiated her body’s rising temperature. Her bright green eyes fluttered before coming to a stop at the curve of her cheek. And sleep came like a hunter closing on its prey. She dreamed. And when her

La Elora; Vengeance & Lenience

La Elora; Vengeance & Lenience

For a young boy like him, those words were a very big compliment. "Carsillion, look! Look!" Ashriel took his hand and shook it playfully. "It's amazing!" Nathan looked in the direction Ashriel was pointing, and his eyes sparkled. The color of the sea from their spot was more clearer than on the shore. "You know what's more amazing?" Meredith asked. "The ocean is very deep. And the more you go deeper, the more you will discover new things. That's how amazing God is." Ashriel tilted her head with Meredith's words.

A Queen Among Tides

A Queen Among Tides

I swim at a glacial pace weaving around a school of fish and start to swim deeper past the continental slope and along the seabed, stopping when I approach the edge of the ocean trench. I lower my body to the seabed and let my fingers sink into the grains of sand beneath me. From here I can see the outline of our old kingdom at the depths of the trench; still intact and perfectly preserved under the sea. Long ago this kingdom resided on the surface and was attached to the mainland, but in a cataclysmic event, was swallowed by the sea. The God of the Elements, Ezillus, used his magic to preserve the kingdom and those within.

Another amazing book! I feel as though each book is my favorite in this series and I love the representation. This particular author has an amazing way of challenging vernacular and using it to empower her characters. Her world building has you vested in the outcome of the story and characters.
