Pure Blood

Pure Blood

This butterfly kept flying and perched on the hand of a man sleeping there. In his sleep, this man's hands and feet were chained to the bed. He is like a prisoner. His face was pale and he had wounds all over his body. Even so, the butterfly still approached him, because he could smell the lily from his body. This smell is so strong, it makes the butterfly think that it has just landed on a flower. *** “We have to stop this agreement, Christ. Give that man back, I don't want anything to do with Harawaltz, especially with the crazy leader," Bianca explained.

Alpha's Heat His To Ruin Hers To Heal

Alpha's Heat His To Ruin Hers To Heal

Not the violent kind I'd seen in battles, but something older and deeper. A butterfly landed on my shoulder. Its wings shimmered like oil on water. "Don't touch it," Eden warned quickly. "Why?" "It's a memory moth. One touch and it'll show everyone your deepest secrets." I held very still until the butterfly flew away. "How much further?" Malachai asked. "We're here," Eden said. Ahead of us, the trees opened into a circular clearing. Ancient stones formed a perfect circle in the center. Each stone was carved with symbols that seemed to move when I wasn't looking directly at them.

Grim Reaper's Bride

Grim Reaper's Bride

How could it be otherwise. “Lemming or not, I'm not jumping that cliff with you. And I'm done being a maggot. I'd rather be a butterfly. Something that can fly away.” One crept out from behind a leaf, a scintillating blue Morpho. I coaxed it onto my palm then blew it in his face. “That way, if we fall, I won't smash open like a pinata.”

The Awakening

The Awakening

The hinges gave a mournful creak. My eyes darted to the contents of the kit. There, nestled in velvet, was a long, shimmering needle filled with a liquid the color of bruised violets. Wolfsbane. The hope died so fast it left me dizzy. My heart hammered against my ribs like a trapped bird. "No," I whispered, scrambling backward until my spine hit the cold stone wall. "Mali, please. Not that. Anything but that." "Mali, please look at me," I begged, my voice cracking.

To Kill a Butterfly

To Kill a Butterfly

She looked down and saw the bottle of pills on the floor. “Bella?” she looked at me under the water. She screamed. Javier and Ricardo came running into the bathroom. Teresa fell to her knees. “What’s going on?” He looked in the tub. “Isabella.” Ricardo pulled me out of the water. He tried to find a pulse. When he couldn’t find one, he attempted CPR. “Call a medic!” He yelled. “Oh, mi hija, what have you done?” I sat up abruptly and spit out all the water I breathed in. I fell backward. Ricardo caught me.

Deep Sea Betrayal

Deep Sea Betrayal

She had forgotten that Zachary had welded the door shut with a blowtorch, and there was no way to pry it open in time. Zachary broke down, too, screaming, "Stop! I don't want to be a director anymore! Carter, I'll give you all the money back! Just stop!" Under the searing heat of the plasma flame, the load-bearing cable began to melt and snap rapidly. A loud crack echoed, and the warm yellow lights inside the diving bell went out instantly as all the communication cables and oxygen lines were severed at once. Accompanied by Summer's utterly desperate screams and Zachary's hysterical curses, the heavy diving bell, now stripped of both the mother ship's support and its buoyancy, plummeted rapi

A Broken Butterfly

She kept on pushing forward. Gonza felt scared out of nowhere. As he watched Patricia swim further, he felt like something is about to happen until he noticed Patricia's way of struggling to keep her above the water. "Shit!" That's when Gonzalo realized she was drowning. Gonzalo didn't waste any more time as he jumped from the balcony of his room into the sand. He landed feet first and ran as fast as he could towards the sea. "The jet ski! Now!" Gonzalo shouted as he ran faster. He can see Patricia waving her hand before sinking back under the water.

they both giggled and shook their heads, ok. The next morning, they set off for their first scuba dive of the island's reef. The crystal-clear waters revealed a vibrant undersea world teeming with marine life. Lyra's eyes sparkled with wonder as she explored the underwater paradise, she swam next to Brent as schools of rainbow-colored fish darted past them, and sea fans swayed gently in the current. As they descended deeper, the reef's beauty took their breath away. Coral formations rose like majestic cathedrals, and the sound of dolphins echoed in the distance. Lyra felt as though she'd entered a dream world, one that she never wanted to leave. Their dive master, a friendly local, guided th

The Alpha's Cursed Mate

The Alpha's Cursed Mate

Scarlette swam to the body and freed her, then swam away, looking around for where the water took her to. As she looked around the dark purple underwear cavern, she saw the red butterfly with a crescent on its wings flying into a corner. She quickly swam after it, Sapphire carefully tucked in her arms. The butterfly flew fast and Scarlette was now certain that it wasn't a normal one but wasn't sure if the butterfly was meant for her or Sapphire. She found herself at the entrance to another part of the cavern and hesitated to go in, but since the butterfly flew in anyway, she followed it.

Sapphire is bold, especially for someone who grew up in the kind of surrounding she was born in. However, I think she's a bit selfish. She's always quick to make decisions that she believed is best for everyone, unconsciously acting on what's best for her. She should learn to think on her own.

I'm enjoying it so far. I just feel bad for Sapphire. She has to find out how to break her curse but her mother left no clue because she's trying to "protect" her. Isn't the best way to protect someone is to tell them everything? Not just a quarter of the truth.
